even know u got 8 gigs of ram it still seems to run slow i see when u open the applications it takes a little to open them thats weird but i when i bought mine a year and a half ago i spent about 3800 on mine and had 4 gigs put it and got the 2.6 ghz processor mine is real fast i bet urs is insane i bet you can open every application u have and run them all with no problem

but for such a good computer, isn't some of the apps opening to slow (iPhoto)? or is it cause u were recording the screen in parallel?

what happen was that i had a lot apps open already and my iphoto library has 35gb of fotos so it always takes like 30 seconds but other apps are fast

i also get the same problem with itunes because i have over 170gb of music so it takes a while to load
