Gretchen is true country. I see a trend in the country music industry between True Country and what I call Corporate Country. The big record companies are trying to mix other genres of music into country music to increase the fan base which increases revenues. This is why we are seeing true country folks laying back and is why I believe Gertchen started her own label and there are some others doing the same. Being country is who you are and where you are from not what you do.
