  • @MsScreamFreak heck yeah

  • Anyone know, how much basic math is need to be known till one can do start on Algebra?

  • @HolyShadow180 Um really just know your basic math and you should be okay, but make sure to pay attention and take lots of notes they will help out later when you start taking college math.

  • @HolyShadow180 im in pre alg now and it takes a portion of knowledge

  • cool, cyborgs do exist. . .

  • Thanks for refreshing again! =D

  • fuck me i never took algebra 1 and now i have chemistry so it was sorta hard at first

  • Cool

  • Man this doesnt make sence. she talks to slow.... i should have payed attention in 6 grade algebra 1...........

  • fuck learning sucks and for some stupid ass reason im learning this in science!!!!. Stupid fucking bald guy makes us learn scientific notation and guess the fuck wat we never gonna use that shit so wats the point of learning it stupid bald teacher guy..AKA ass wipe hahah

  • thanks. love her accent!

  • but what if its not a 10 then what ?

  • @firegirk121 It ALWAYS a 10

  • this woman makes it hard to learn she talks like an a**

  • its being proven...boring teachers leads to boredom and 0 learners... fun teachers that are alive and talk alive..make learning easy and fun

  • @donchicharo33 BS. Teachers that get straight to the point and only give relevant information are better teachers. This girl, and her partner are awesome math teachers, because they are stone-cold methodical. :)

  • its being proven...boring teachers leads to boredom and 0 learners... fun teachers that are alive and talk alive..make learning easy and fun

  • yeah shes creepy I think i heard of her eating people before, and yeah when the hell we ever going to use this ive asked electricians and mechanics since thats where i was told it was going to be used and they said they never have used it in thier 30 plus some odd career.

  • You talk very slowly . I know its supposed to help us understand buht . it makes us NOT understand . i fucking hate algebra when the fuck will we use this in life .?

  • YAWWWNN! : /

  • (9.907x10^7)(1.08x10^12)^2/(3.603x10^-5)(2054)

  • is it just me or is that teacher reaally creepy 0_o

  • could you imagine having sex with her

  • wow lady u need 2 calm down.... u look all like .... grrr and stuff but thx rly helped alot

  • sorry but this sucks

  • i have a diffrent type then that

  • wut about negatives??? like 10 to the negative 4th power

  • Negative exponents mean that the decimal point is actually further to the left. So 10 to the negative 4 means the decimal place is actually 4 places over to the left. It means that the number is actually smaller than it looks. For instance, a single atom of copper weighs .0000000000000000000000002 pounds. That is a LOT of ZEROES! It's much easier to write it as 2 X 10 to the -25. That means a 2 with 25 decimal places to the left of it. Don't let the 10 confuse you either...

  • Think about it this way. In a single penny there a LOT of copper atoms, because copper atoms are very small. So, the number of copper atoms in a single penny is 29,500,000,000,000,000,000,000. That can be written as 2.95 X 10 to the positive 22. You need the 10, because 2.95 to the 22 is not a number that starts with "295". What we're saying though is 295 followed by a certain number of zeroes. If we were trying to say 2.95 times a number that makes it be followed by 4 zeroes, we would...

  • multiply 2.95 times a number that moves the decimal place past the nine and the five and then puts four zeroes after it: 2,950,000. How would we get that number? Let's multiply it by 10 and see what happens... 29.5 We moved the decimal 1 TIME to the right. Let's multiply it by 10 again: 295. So, we've multiplied it by 10 how many times? 2 times. Let's do it a 3rd time: 2,950. Closer. A 4th time: 29,500. A 5th time: 295,000. We want four zeroes. By 10 a 6th time: 2,950,000. Bingo! So...

  • So in order to put 4 zeroes after 2.95 we had to multiply it by 10 SIX TIMES. That's: 2.95 X 10 X 10 X 10 X 10 X 10 X 10. It's the same as saying 2.95 X 10 to the 6th. So, 10 to the positive 6 moves the decimal SIX places to the right. So, now what would a 10 to the NEGATIVE 6 do to the number "2.95"? A 10 to the negative 6 moves the decimal over 6 places in the OPPOSITE: it moves 6 places to the left. Negative exponents mean that the number becomes that many times itself smaller...

  • So, 7 to the negative 6th means: 7 divided by 7 SIX times. That's: 7 X 1/7th X 1/7th X 1/7th X 1/7th X 1/7th X 1/7th. It's a VERY weird number! But 10 is very easy to raise to negative exponents. 10 to the negative 5th: 10 X 1/10th (If you don't know multiplying a number by 1/10th or 1/7th means the same thing as "divided by 10" or "divided by 7") X 1/10th X 1/10th X 1/10th X 1/10th. That's .00001. 10 to the negative 5 means ".00001". 10 to the negative 1 is .1 so then...

  • what is if we have "2.95" and we want to move that decimal point TO THE LEFT 6 times, what do we need to multiply it by? Well, if multiplying it by 10 six times moved it to the right six times, then what moves it to the left? ONE-TENTH. 10 to the negative 1. They're both the same number. ONE-TENTH and TEN TO THE NEGATIVE ONE and .1 are all the same number. All three of them mean ".1" Got that? 10 to the negative 1 means ".1" 10 to the negative 2 means ".01" 10 to the negative 3 means ".001"

  • i cant understand anything u r saying!!

i hate algabra im never gonna use it ever!!

  • So then, if we want to get the decimal on "2.95" to move to the left 6 TIMES we need to multiply it by a number that does it. .000001 is that number. 10 to the NEGATIVE 6 is that number. So, 2.95 X .000001 = .00000295 And it looks cleaner to write the same thing as 2.95 X 10 to the negative 6 = .00000295 bada-bing-bada-boom! That's what a negative exponent is. If you get into chemistry you'll need to know 10 to the negative and 10 to the positive. Any other number to the negative? Barely used...

  • the other vid shows you how its called scientific notation math help

  • THAT REALLY HELP....

  • thanks you really helped!

  • this helped so much!

  • nice you helped me with my assingnment!!!
