  • Great video! I agree the attachments for the weed eater are trash. I'm ready to buy a mantis soon. However I suggest instead of gas from the pump, get the pre mixed can fuel called "Tru Fuel" There is no ethanol in it and will save your 2 cycle engine from being trashed. Ethanol is a death sentence for 2 cycle engines. Again thanks you answered some questions I had.

  • @le238man

I'll look into that Tru Fuel. Thanks for watching.

  • I do have the problem with hand hitting killswitch when tilling but, i am going to remedy that either i am going to mount small toggle on the starter housing or on the brace across the handles that says mantis on it.

  • @davedoggy

Mantis has made another design change since I bought mine. It is alot different looking. I'm quite happy with mine just the same. Thanks for watching.

  • For awhile i been wanting a mantis tiller to maintain the flower beds here. found one on craigslist going for 100 dollars i jumped on it. Bought it from a rental place I walked in and pulled the cord slowly felt the compression and said SOLD lol.. the only things wrong was the starter rope needed replacing and, i found the throttle was not opening up all the way when you squeezed trigger all the way ez fixes tho. I really love this machine it's a bad mofo lol...

  • Lets see that little guy in action. I have a Troy-Bilt Pony that is awesome but its too big for beds. I've been thinking about getting one of these so I don't have to pull all the weeds, I can just rip 'em up. Looks like you did ok getting the edger and kick stand. Nice tiller.

  • @mrwiggles2

Yeah, it works like a charm. Right now the garden is weed free so I was thinking of doing a edging video with the Mantis soon.

  • You will love this machine. I have 2 that I use for my lawncare business, and they are used all the time. They are 5 years old and never a problem with them.

  • @YukonPete21

That's good to know that with propper care it should last me many years. Thanks for watching.

  • thing sounds mean!

  • sounds like a nice little 2 stroke! nice tiller great for doing in between the rows! might get one of these to replace my little 3hp briggs cause shes going and my 5hp is too big to just in between the rows

  • @pimpinpenz

Yeah. They really live up to the claims in their ads. If you get one you won't be disappointed.

  • love mine
