I want to disable the translater!! I deselected the "Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language I read" checkbox and yes, it stoped asking me BUT. When i go to Youtube and type some words to find a video and when it loads Thers a "View the original name" right next to the text thats in my language. I hate it!

hey jay, i'm from nepal and i'd like to draw your attention on language translation, in google home page it shows up saying "This page is in Hindi, Would you like to transalte it?"(,Hindi) which means language from India, which is not indian laguage, it is language from Nepal, neplease language.. i think google is being misleaded or confused about hindi and nepali language. so i hope, google will apply a correction soon on this issue..

Sometimes it doesn't notice a page is in another lanaguage or maybe only one comment is in another language. I really wish I could also highlight a piece of text and then have it translate only that.

the translation option would be an excellent feature if the on/off translation option can be found on the right-click drop down menu :| so that no one gets annoyed by translation option pops below the navi bar :D

Well its useful if you have totally no idea what the page is about, so this would be helpful. It caters to ppl who are in other countries but everything comes out in foreign language.

Well, there is you just have to go to options and click on "Never translate this page into (Your language)" and the translate tool will not bother you again.
