  • The Pike/Taxil (?) passage is disputed, but it presents a Gnostic perspective. It has not been quoted in full.

  • @02Blackbeard We saw indeed some Masonic journals, such as La Renaissance Symbolique, swallow a dogmatic circular about luciferian occultism, a circular dated July 14, 1889, written by myself in Paris, and which I disclosed as having been brought from Charleston to Europe by Miss Diana Vaughan on behalf of Albert Pike, its author.

Seems to be the origin of this.

  • I believer that, esoterically speaking, a Luciferian is one who brings in the light of the sun (which is symbolic for something all together). So when someone says they are a Luciferian what that implies is that they are an advocate for the risen Savior (The sun). Which can be expressed as either Jesus or Horus. So in a round about way, Christians are Luciferians because they are perpetuating the worship of the sun.

  • Astrologically speaking Lucifer is the light bringer because Venus (the planet it refers to) shines like a star before the dawn (The Morning Star) heralding the rising of the sun. Lucifer isn't the light but is the one that brings it in.

  • ANNIHILATION=THE ONE TRUE GOOD.

  • re mis-quoting...people do this to FORWARD their own agenda, its done in politics, in religion, and in life...very sad isn't it

  • The lord JESUS exposed the Pope as the anti christ who would decieve the world in the last days. The pope came out of the divided roman empire, changed the sabbath day, killed the saints and called himself christ equal while standing in the christian church. This is what The lord JESUS CHRIST what daniel what paul and john said the anti christ would do and the pope with his jesuits who control the freemasons and illumanati are doing it. They worship satan and they are about to decieve the world

Also for peoples information. The 33 Degrees of Scottish rite Masonry was written by the Jesuit Order of the Vatican and leaders of Mystery Babylon at a.k.a the Vatican NWO.

  • What ever you want to say. Read the Protocol of the Learned Elders of Zion. Protocol 4.2: 2. Who and what is in a position to overthrow an invisible force? And this is precisely what our force is. GENTILE MASONRY blindly serves as a screen for us and our objects, but the plan of action of our force, even its very abiding-place, remains for the whole people an unknown mystery.

  • @Synth3t1cs Masonry is not a religion, however, all modern religions employ aspects of ancient paganism, including whatever yours is, guarenteed. Look at a catholic service, with the burning incense and stuff. Ash on the forhead on Ash Wednesday, Palm leaves on Palm Sunday. Exchanging rings at a wedding goes back MUCH further than any modern religion. As does Baptism. Christmas trees, pagan. Judaism with the Ram's horn (and heaps more). Islam is loaded too, Sufiism.

  • Comment removed

  • @Synth3t1cs Hmm...the "pagan taint in the modern religions...", isn't it the other way around?

Masonry is NOT a religion, however you make good points, and not completely unfounded conspiracy theory for the uninitiated. It's easy to see how one could assume it is a religion though.

It has been eloquently stated before, that "Freemasons are correct when they say that the Craft is not a religion. It IS religion." Cont. --->

  • @Synth3t1cs Within masonry, you will find that the only book used in lodge is the Holy Bible, period. However, masonic symbolism (which isn't really masonic) has been compiled for centuries, or longer, and every religion (and sometimes even socio-political philosophies) are represented. It is literally a place where anyone can go, without feeling threatened, and just be a part of the "brotherhood of man" for awhile, with mutual respect and kindness, without animosity based in anything.

  • @Synth3t1cs "The generative force of life. The masonic / egyptian phallus. The skull and cross bones. The two pillars." Ok perhaps you could expound on the meaning of these symbols, and express here HOW they exist in such stark contrast to biblical teachings?

I'll remind you, all current religions sprung up from those that came before them. Explain.

  • @Synth3t1cs Actually, Jachin and Boaz are biblical characters. Jachin is found in

Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, 1Kings, 1Chronicles, 2Chronicles, and Nehemiah, and represents hard work in finding one's purpose in life and completing it. Boaz was the husband of Ruth, the great grandfather of David, and a direct ancestor of Jesus. He can be found in Matthew and Luke, and represents strength in doing what's right. In American culture, we refer to them as "Truth and Justice", and the... -contd--->

  • @Synth3t1cs and they can be found on the walls of Congress behind the speaker of the house. The obelisk (on one level) reminds us to always remain planted firmly, and always reach toward heaven for guidance. I should remind you as well, that a phallic symbol is found on the roof of almost every church on the planet. A skull on a bible is not a Blue Lodge thing, but where it is done, it represents not only knowledge, but to remind us that we are mortal, and pairing it with a bible...contd -->

  • Comment removed

  • @Synth3t1cs ...pairing it with the bible shows that when we die, our actions and faith will be the deciding factors concerning the fate of our soul.

I would posit that none of that, including the parts that are in the bible, are in opposition to the bible by any stretch of the imagination.

As for "paganism", you'll find it's remnants in nearly every church or temple from every religion worldwide, especially Catholicism, Protestantism, Judaism, and Islam. They all have their own rituals.

  • @Maat922 If you are a Mason could you send me a private message? There are some things I would like to ask you. Thanks in advance.

  • @Synth3t1cs You may find it interesting that once upon a time, in certain places in the world, people got along great, and peace reigned among them. They didn't have religions that taught hatred due to race or creed, and ideas were exchanged, some of them leading to extremely content and peaceful empires for thousands of years on end. They only had allegory, and hunches, and that's what they went on. They all knew however, that there was something bigger. They just didn't know what "it" was.

  • @Synth3t1cs As masons, we know that there is beauty in all religions, so we don't talk about it IN lodge (just in case it causes a shitstorm, same for politics). Outside of lodge, many of us don't stop talking about and pondering religions, myself included. There's nothing like arguing the merits of various religious systems with a mason. Few have studied them more, and few people are as faithful to their own. I love God, had him with me way before masonry.

  • i hate this stupidity speaking on whos god

  • Yes, a very good video indeed! I have studied the Mason's quite a bit.....I even received an URSI grant to do a study of Mozart's Opera THE MAGIC FLUTE, with the intention of discovering whether or not (as is rumored) he was killed for having revealed Masonic Secrets...He was not. The Opera certainly has certain Masonic Symbology woven into its theme...but this is quite common of Opera's and Art in general from that time period...No secrets were exposed by it...not even a secret handshake! LOL!!

  • Capitalism, Corporate or State dominated or In It together is the wage slavery of immense humanity for abstract process of Capital accumulation and concentration for the elite, 250 top corporations control over 1/3 of the world GDP. More than 3 billion workers are on 2 dollars a day. Capitalism is template of perpetual war, oppression, enviornmental destructions, animal cruelty and suffering, A dehumanising distorting minority imposition in thier inatiable drive for ever more Profit no matter what

  • @arzoyan I agree....or at the very least I would agree that Capitalism run amok, with nothing to balance it out is very close to the definition that you are stating (I fear that America is becoming dangerously close to the whole "Capitalim run amok" scenerio, if it has not already passed into it.) Although I respect and agree with what you have stated (in the sense,at least, of the limits evinced in my reply)...I would None-the-less... have to ask...What does this have to do with Freemasonry?

  • @arzoyan I disagree, free-market capitalism was a stillborn child, never had a chance before some government assholes stepped in and began regulating it. At that point, it was no longer free-market capitalism, but a mutated bastard that would go on to ruin billions of lives.

Up with freedom, Up with small-central government, Down with corporatocracy, war mongering, and senseless hatred. Ron Paul in 2012!

  • @Maat922 Take your disagreement to monopolistic forces of capitalism , from banksters to corporate oligarchs, you are just too naive for your own good sake.

  • @arzoyan No, i've thought it out. I also believe the anti-trust/anti-monopoly laws were written by Rockefeller lawyers. My theory is that in a truly FREE market, monopolies will cmmit suicide. They will concentrate only on their product, their cash-cow, while at the same time the quality goes to hell as they have no competition. Someone else will inevitably create an entirely new product, thus detroying monopolistic investments, and leading to the self-destructive implosion of the trust.

  • @arzoyan I think I'm not the first person to have thought of this. I think the monopoly-types over the years sniffed that out too, so they helped write the anti-trust laws that would be used against them, and probably worked in huge tax breaks for the new fledgling companies (all of which they still own) and other "bennies" as well, and on the other side probably became MORE profitable and MORE indestructible. Shoulda just let them reach terminal mass so they'd self destruct. FREE MARKETS!!!

  • @arzoyan Then try communism. Enjoy being told what to think, and standing in line for 3 miles for a cup of beet soup and 8 tiles of toilet paper. Make them last. Toilet paper day is only once every two weeks.

Or socialism. If you don't toe the state's line, you get nothing, including work, or any means of earning a wage at all, or education/health care for your family. All money is controlled.

At least in the free market, I can do odd jobs and buy myself a burger.

  • It is a good video . I as a Freemason do not like Pike so much but we must pay a tribute to a man who had seen his nation in a civil war and makes an effort to improve what he received . We can not easily judge a man from 1860 something with the criteria of 2010.

  • Yeah, its all over the internet, so it must be true.

  • Nice,I always found it hard to belief that freemasons worshipped the Baphomet or Lucifer.

So,they worship nothing alright I see.

  • Thanks for this video it really cleared up things for me fortunately just seconds before watching this I downloaded the book in PDF and found this for myself. Why don't you Masons stand up. I first heard of Free-masons in a bad light by watching the movie From Hell. Then by watching these misquotes of Morals & Dogma. I'm going to read this book and study what Pike actually wrote.

  • 2 time Past Master of a Blue Lodge here, Past District Deputy Grand Master, 32 degree KCCH, and Shriner. There is no Satanic worshiping in ANYTHING I have experienced. My Blue Lodge currently has 6 ordained ministers on its roll of members. We honor their service to GOD by exempting them from dues.

  • good reply brother i am newly raised have been for three years now and i do not planned to stop i love my GOD and thats it.. PROUD 360 OF ALBANY GEORGIA

  • I have to say, that I've always had a cursory interest in Masonry. I belong to a Christian denomination that distrusts Freemasonry because of the secrecy, so it has always been an enigma, and therefore very fascinating. I have seen the quote about Lucifer numerous times, and if you take it out of context, it certainly sounds like Masons worship Lucifer. My jaw dropped when I read the quote in context. I couldn't believe it! Why would someone purposefully misquote someone like that?

  • @gmbrannan because people fear what they don't understand.

  • @gmbrannan We're not as secret as we're made out to be. The only real "secrets" we have are the ones that allow us to identify one another in a crowd, that way non-masons cannot pass themselves off as tohse of us who've "done the work to earn the degree", as it were. Feel free to drop in at a lodge anytime and say hello to the brethren.

  • @gmbrannan My feeling as to why the mason-slandering campaign was begun (and put on your tinfoil hat) is that there are truly secret societies, who are incredibly powerful, view the masonic ideals of freedom and justice as a threat, and often commit acts only to glance the blame toward masonry. It's much easier to put the blame on a "secret society" (which has a lodge in about every other town) than it is to a secret society which most people don't even know exists.

  • @gmbrannan Yes some Christians take it out of context, Bible and Facts are an oxymoron

  • I think it is so crazy that this video doesnt clear up the big misunderstanding about what masonry is really about. I mean I am a mason and a shriner and I am very proud that this video is here to actually give my dumbfounded critics some concrete proof that NOTHING in masonry is satanic or evil or goes against the nature of God.

  • but iv heard a shriner say he worhips lucifer. the same lucifer that was thrown out of heaven. why would he say that. unless he was joking.

  • Being a Shriner, he probably is joking

  • Im telling you as a shriner, I DO NOT worship anything but the Lord Jesus Christ. Like ole buddy said, shriners are a fun bunch and he might have been messin with you but he might've not been a mason at all in the first place.

  • Thats true, I have seen people impersonate members of an organization to put them in a bad light myself.

  • okay are you of the 30th degree or higher? if not, these mean nothing...nothing at all

  • I am a 32 Degree

  • I was speaking to a 33rd by the name of Michael Noel Prescott, Pity he is in the wrong social circles.

  • Interesting, I'm currently reading Morals andd Dogma. A rather impressive piece of literature, that's for sure.

Good luck with your work Bro.

  • Is it any good? I am thinking of reading it.

  • It's a very well written piece of Victorian literature. However, I'd say you'd need to be a mason to get the most out of it, though.

    CF

  • if you want morals and dogma it is hard to get the real one. the ones you can get on amazon generally wont be.

  • If your talking about the physical first publication then yes, only because they are antiques. However, the origional text is the same unless you get a modern version which puts the language into a more contemporary format.

  • Does the contemporary format differ much?

  • In my opinion, anything that is re-written runs the risk of losing some of it's original meaning no matter how meticulous and careful the updating is. Because philosophy is so dependent on semantics, changing a single word can alter the original meaning of the author. So, I tend to try and stay as close to the original as possible, but to each his own.

  • I couldn't agree more, Thank you very much brother.

  • Typical. The videos claiming that Pike wrote that Masonry is Satanic get thousands of hits, while the video proving otherwise gets a couple of hundred. Nobody wants the truth when it isn't as salacious or exciting as fiction.

  • some more things i did not know. thank you
