That turned out very well...kudos for making that all in Sketchup!
BTW, Shapeways doesn't use laser-sintering for Stainless, they print a powder version then bake it in an oven - you can see a video of the process on the material page for stainless steel on the Shapeways site.
I'm guessing the warping occurred during the baking, because of the chain ring being larger than the total thickness of the piece, it would be balanced on the ring and the opposite end while heated for a period of time.
