Yep, I have both games and I realized that Dragon Age Origins is really more satisfying, more mature in the way the game is presented. All those characters are appealing, different and fun! Even the mute hero is enjoyable, especially the dialog colour ( without the little image ) and the voices acting.

It's really sad to try to improved a game and... fail!

That will never happen with Bethesda and Skyrim!

I don't care about fast combat system, I need two-handed warrior with finishing moves

@WayofLiving1 Sorry to say but haven't you heard? Skyrim is more dumbed down than Oblivion. They've ditched many skills and statistics and there's a spirit feature instead of the athletics skill. TES has been dumbed down since Oblivion. Compare Oblivion to Morrowind for instance and you'll see what I mean.

@Divinesunone Hi, I already knew those facts. Todd Howard interviews, he's talking about skills, perks, why athletic skill isn't there and a lot more. Yeah, searching information from the source is always the best way to know the truth.

Unscripted Dragons, Perks Tree, Special ability to each race, Magic or Weapon in each hand, Two versions of the food, raw/cooked, New AI system, New engine graphics, New levelling system, finishing moves . . .

@WayofLiving1 Special ability was always there for each race but now none have starting bonuses. AI and new engines doesn't make the game less dumbed down than it is with the statistics taken out. They said Oblivion wouldn't be dumbed down too when compared to Morrowind but it was completely dumbed down from it. If I want an action-RPG with flying creatures, I'll get Dragon's Dogma which is also set in an open world and will probably feature more enjoyable combat than Skyrim.

Mage in the tower who smuggles extra Lyrium for the templars, godwin, says that Carrol one of the templars who has the symptoms of overusing Lyrium when you do the quest "Precious metals". That's probably why Knight Commander wanted him in Denerim or at the docks so would be out of his way.

@darksideofdarthvader When you go to the Circle of Magi to recruit the Templars and Magi there, you have to get across the lake. This is just some nameless mook they put there to stop you getting across. There are quite a few ways you can get past him, I believe.
