It doesn't claim that anyone is perfect or in total line with the Church's teaching, only that Obama's voting record and verbal intentions are in direct opposition to these 5 core issues that are applicable at this point and time. McCain isn't Catholic and probably agrees little with the Catholic faith, but when it comes to these core issues, he is more in line with the natural law than Barry.

Can you look into those replaced eyes and understand that this child once looked back into someone elses in the search for love and caring only to find hatred. A mouth that probably uttered the words "momma I love you" and crumbled because those words weren't returned. I can't make a mother love her child if all she see's is the face of her rapist when she looks at them.

But, what I can try to do is to stop it before it happens with education and getting sexually abused children and women all the help that they need. This has been going on for too long of a time, and pushing abstinence hasn't worked. Young girls and boys need to be taught the psychology behind the reasons they should wait, or protect themselves and why it's so important. What I am saying is do you REALLY want the person that would have the mentality to have an abortion for convenience sake to raise any child? My solution would be that we use every tool we have available to keep unwanted pregnancies from happening. But, prolifers usually don't believe in birth control methods other than abstinence. As a child growing up many, many years ago, when society wasn't saturated with sexual ads, movies, etc., I still had knowledge of reproduction. Little ones are forced to grow up before their time and you say more education? I think that our society needs to return to self respect and consideration of others. That would take care of these unwanted pregnancies.

Self respect, consideration of others and dispelling the myths should be a big part of that education. I had great parents that explained without the use of threats, fire & brimstone, shame or silence on the sexuality when I had questions. Unfortunately, not all children have this type of HEALTHY direction. I grew up many years ago also & I remember correcting a lot of information for my friends & preventing at least six pregnancies. Kids shouldn't learn about sex from other kids and the media.

And many women who have been raped and have had an abortion say that they felt doubly raped afterward. The abortion does not magically erase the fact of the rape, it just means the woman has even more physical and psychological violation to deal with, plus the guilt. The baby can be give up for adoption although some women do choose to keep the child. It can be very healing to give birth to a healthy baby and allow other people to be parents.

Unfortunately I know of many Catholic Democrats who were happily voting for Barak Obama. It is not easy to get people to understand that the Democratic party of today is not the same as John F. Kennedy's Democratic Party. The Dems support abortion and gay rights, both of which should mean that Catholics would never vote Democrat, but Dems are also socially liberal, which Catholics traditionally have been. How Catholics justify this in their minds, I do not know. I could never vote Democrat.

Excellent video! A year ago our priests reminded us that we coud not vote for pro abortion candidates in the primaries. How said that laws make it impossible for them to reinforce this when so much is at stake.

What our founding fathers intended was that there be no state religion, as in England where so many of had been persecuted for wanting to practice their own religion.

As far as abortion goes, Catholics believe abortion is equivilent to murder. So the same way most people are morally opposed to murder Catholics are morally opposed to abortion, and feel they must do everything they can to keep it from happening. Just as you and I would do everything that we can to keep what we consider murder from happening.

How in the world can this be right? Just because Catholics are socially liberal and have been Democratic historically does not mean the Democrat party represents Church teaching. In fact, the opposite is true. Democratic Party Platform includes unrestricted abortion and gay rights, both of which are antithetical to the Catechism. I will never understand why some in the Church can turn a blind eye to the Democrat platform on abortion and vote for someone like Obama.
