No, that scene was after this when they began having their affair and she was waiting in the lobby of a hotel while Big arranged for a room and a businessman thinks she's a prostitute. She ran out of the hotel lobby and into Charlotte who was downtown. That is when Charlotte found out about her having the affair with Big and was upset with Carrie.
bcuz she is smart, witty, charismatic, sexy, loyal, and I could go on.
Though I understand why she would appear kinda selfish and over-dramatic (though I don't think she is slutty but to each their own) I just adore her bcuz SJP does a good job at making her flaws seem adorable.

I think that during the Aiden years everyone wished or thought they would end up together, but the show did a really good job of maturing Big's character towards the end. I think it would have been depressing to know Carrie married a guy like Aiden -- too average. She needs someone to challenge her.
I don't agree they knew they would end up with eachother- I was shocked by it. In real life she would of ended up with a guy like Aiden. Not much in common, but he was stable. MR. Big is a womanizer who plays on Carrie's needs and feelings in order to create some excitement in this "beige life." Again, I am really suprised - I wanted the series to end realisticallly and with a mature insight into relationships.
I agree, I have always felt that way about MR.Big. I think Aiden was the most realistic and genuine lover she had throughout the entire series. Mr. Big was just the conventional choice, he was like this John Kennedy Jr archetype that we were all suppose to believe was the ultimate prince charming. I just never bought it!
I know I never said they weren't destined to be together there's no doubt in hell they weren't and I love them together I was just stating he sorta trapped her in a corner and she sorta did stop him by telling him not to follow her into the elevator and pushing him away when he says I made a mistake and when he says I love you he's playing with her feelings and trying to get her to fall into the ex trap
Big just couldn't ever admit to hisself, that he had fallen for Carrie. Hell, he probabaly fell for her way back at the beginning of SATC. he just could never admit it. and was freaked out completely freaked out by feeling those emotions all over again. I agree though about Big starting the affair but Carrie never stopped Big! because they both knew all the time they were destined for each other they knew it! that crazy, electric feeling you get when you see the person your destined 2 be with!
he sorta trapped her into a corner though and took away all the exits and than started the affair which was so severe because he's her ex boyfriend so of course she'd still have feelings for him she knew she wouldn't not make out with him and from experience she knows when he's alone he can get anything he wants but than again if it was me i'd prob. be in the same situation because i adore Big

I agree though about Big starting the affair but Carrie never stopped Big! because they both knew all the time they were destined for each other they knew it! that crazy, electric feeling you get when you see the person your destined 2 be with!

he sorta trapped her into a corner though and took away all the exits and than started the affair which was so severe because he's her ex boyfriend so of course she'd still have feelings for him she knew she wouldn't not make out with him and from experience she knows when he's alone he can get anything he wants but than again if it was me i'd prob. be in the same situation because i adore Big

There's no episode in which she bought the necklace. She talked about it when she was in Paris missing the girls. She had the necklace since the beggining of the show I think
