  • definitely BMW is awesome, and only for peoples know about of quality, luxury, comfort, power, speed, and the respect it deserves bmw

  • does anybody else think Nick kind of looks like a grown-up version of Haley Joel Osment?

  • Is the other driver a real test driver or someone important at BMW or just an actor?

  • Someone earlier said it was Robert kubica, but I'm not so sure about that now.

  • Definitely not. He has the same gaunt face, but still not him. I guess it's just an actor.

    BMW WCC 09!

  • BMW FTW, Im ugrading My e46 Grocery Getter to an e92 m3 next year

  • E46 grocery getter?! it better just be a 325i sedan your talking about! because i love the style of the E46 coupes as much as the E92s

  • Give me your e46 :P

I personally find the E46 much better looking than the e92. I think the Bangle-butt really did ruind BM for me

  • You certainly are in the minority. The new E90/E92 is way superior in just about everyway (styling is a subjective thing).

p.s. I own an E46 and driven an E90 sedan. No comparisons!

  • If you re-read my comment, you will see that I only said the e46 is superior than the e92 in terms of looks (for my taste). But I am most certainly not a minority. I notice that the BM fanbase is split pretty much 50/50 on the new BM designs.

  • I kind of agree that BMW could have done a better job with the coupe. The sedan is shorter than the coupe and a bit wider so it looks more muscular. The sedan with black line tail lights looks perfect. Funny the M3 sedan with blackline tail lights looks very similar to the E46.

Looks wise, the E46 is a classic and will always be probably the most perfectly proportioned BMW ever.

  • my ass, E92 is the best; go drive ur mini cabrio!!

  • Looks are subjective. Me and most of the classic BM-fanbase seem to agree on this point though.

  • Well I like BMW too and I am seriously thinking to buy the E92 or the Audi RS4. It's true the old bmw models look alike. but the new ones looks more like japanese cars now.

  • sigh. i dont know how you got that, but im letting it slide since your considering an E92.

in august i got to drive an E90 335i. i know its not an E92 on the outside, but the inside is the same. the steering wheel felt so perfect in my hands. i could feel the engine wanting to rocket me forward. and the ride was so quiet and smooth, even with the runflats. i cant tell you if the E92 328i is like that, but the E92 335i cant be much different than the E90 in those aspects. it was an amazing car.

  • You kind of lost me in the model numbers I thought E92 is the new M3 period. Well I drove a 335i in august too and honnestly I was not impressed. I might not be used to the high reving sound but it felt like I was driving a car with a bike engine. I seemed torque was lacking a low rev although that changed entirely a high rev. The same day I drove an audi S4 and I was much more impressed by the V8. That was not even an RS4 so now I want RS4 or E92

  • well the 335 has an inline 6, not a V8. E92 is the body styling. its the number for the generation. anyway, i have nothing against audi, if thats what you go with. i even saw an audi, it had the prominant wheel arches, agressive front and rear bumpers. it looked pretty sweet. i dont know audis, but my guess was that it was a 2000 or so RS4. 4 doors, no bigger than a BMW 3 series, but i'd drive that audi.

  • BMW and only BMW...

  • Yes they seem to sell the new 3 series well because of the strong brand image. outstanding product design is for the overall quality of the car. Bangle flames of hell is just a small dent in an otherwise strong product.. just horribly styled.

  • it was voted SOLELY on VISUAL criteria. not overall quality. noone drove them, sat in them, considered the engine, or looked at what the car came with. the survey was only looking at how the cars looked- THATS ALL.

  • but tell me something: look at the headlights of the E46, the E39, and the E38. compare the taillights of the E38 and E39. notice any similarities? THEYRE BASICALLY THE SAME SHAPE AND LAYOUT! now compare the headlights and taillights of the E90/E92, the E60, and the E65. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SHAPE AND CHARACTER! Bangle set each series apart- in a good way. im glad he did. im proud to love BMWs. this is 2007, we shouldnt be driving cars that look like theyre still from the 90s

  • i forgot to mention the E53 and the E37 (Z3) headlights.

  • very impressive

  • haha, thanks. i know and love my BMWs.

  • is that chris bangle the guy who screwed up bmw's body-style ?

  • he didnt screw it up, he refreshed the styling. he gave each series its own character. ill be honest, from a distance, i cant tell the difference between the previous 5 series from a previous 7 series. they look pretty much the same unless theyre side by side.

  • Oh yes he did. Go to any hardcore BMW forum. They'd pay to see him go ( or lynched )

  • What you're about to read is copied directly from a Google News article:

The BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle has been acknowledged as the best new design in the off-road category

Voting was solely on visual criteria.

No vehicle in any other segment was mentioned as often and judged as positively as the BMW X5.

  • The BMW 1 Series and the BMW 3 Series Convertible were also readers' favourites, managing to seize third place in the classes for compact vehicles and convertibles respectively.

BMW Group designers always aim to design vehicles that both appeal to people at first glance as well as achieving a sustainable visual effect over time.

In this way, design becomes a success factor for BMW.

  • In addition to this latest recognition, BMW recently received the internationally recognised red dot award 2007 for outstanding product design, and at the same time the BMW Group was also presented with the prize for the "Design Team of the Year".

  • i made a video for the X5 winning the Best New Design Award. its called "The BMW X5 Design is here"

  • oh, and by the way, i am a hardcore BMW fan, ever since 1999.

  • That's Robert Kubica taking the F1 car out

  • no, its deffinately Nick Heifield

  • Look closer... it's confusing because Heidfeld comes in with his suit on, and Kubica is wearing the blue sweater, then the next scene, Heidfeld is in the blue sweater taking out the M3, and Kubica is in the F1 car. Kubica and Heidfeld are "the team" for BMW Sauber F1 so it makes sense they'd both be in the spot.

  • haha sorry, i just saw you said the F1 car. yea robert takes the F1 car, but the commercial is about the M3, and nick is driving the m3. sorry about that

  • :-) the commericial doesn't have the best continuity... but it's cool they put the F1 cars in it. Too bad BMW probably wont get Alonso next year!

  • I have an e46 hoping to get the e92 soon

  • recently sold my 06 zcp and currently on the waiting list for the e92.

  • Have you considered the RS4 ?

  • BMW gave him that M3,my god the E92 is badass

  • i wish BMW would give me an M3...or any BMW

  • Even a 116i?

  • well, no. how about any E46 325i and higher, a 1 series coupe, any M, any X, any E60, E65, E63, E92 or E90. did i miss any that i like? omg, and a Z4, if not the badass Z4M coupe. or the X6 Concept!!!!!

  • i like this one everything is timed and it goes well together

  • eddie!

  • lol
