  • I agree with Kawaii, looks like a moth that somehow

deformed and it's wings are too small.

  • hmm for my opinion, it looks like a moth getting out of its cacoon... idk lol XD

  • Looks like some sort of moth larvae.

  • ööhm. i'm not sure... OMG ITS BARACK OBAMA!!!

    RUN! RUN! RUN!!!!!!

  • I raised Tussock moths before and this reminds me of one of our moths that came out. It was deformed, as it's body was normal, the wings weren't developed. Not saying it's a Tussock, but maybe this poor thing had the same problem(?)

  • That appears to be a newly hatched CECROPIA MOTH.

  • its a moth full of blood it just came out of its cocoon ,the blood moves from its body to its wings pumping them up,then the body is at normal size.

    (bug expert)

  • its called a moth thats pregnat and wants those babies out

  • moth getting out of cacoon i think... not sure if im right tho sure looks like it:P

  • Its a Big mOth

  • new jersey....? adult thumb...?

    damn i'm happy i moved...

  • its ither a moth or a per mature bee

  • looks almost like it was inturrupted inside its cacoon so it wasnt fully developed yet but im not an expert

  • all you need is a nice big firecracker

  • It looks like a giant moth they are um well somewhere in the world anyway yea im pretty sure its a moth

  • It is a Polyphemus Moth just emerging from it's cocoon. They are in the giant silk moth family.

  • its a mothe coming out of its cocune

  • that my friends is the end result of a tomato or tobacco horn worm, an adult moth emerging from the ground where they pupate.

  • that is a silkmoth

  • It's getting out his cocoon.

  • It looks like a butterfly or a moth that didn't get to squeeze itself out of it's cocoon and now the flesh that's supposed to be squished off or out or whatever is still on it... or it's just one fucked up bug.

  • fatass bug... lol as said ike 7 months ago.... Burn it!

  • What the fuck is that???

  • Hiking in New Jersey?

    You're joking, right?

  • what a fat ass

  • It's like...a FAT ASS MOTH!

  • This is a Squishmeus Completelyus

In other words, squahs the bugger!

  • It is a child that had been forcibly flushed down a toilet, and have mutated and is back to reek havoc on us all, everbody run

  • Wait! There's a solution!

All we have to do is type this comment in 3 other videos!!

  • FIRE! hah I love it when people just say "burn it!" its so funny

  • It looks like a fat butterfly :\

  • burn the mother!

  • It's a moth that has just emerged from it's pupa and it's wings have not yet dried and expanded. Usually they hang from their pupa until their wings dry and then fly away but this one must have fallen off. I'm not a moth expert by any stretch of the imagination but if I were to guess based on its size, feathered antennae and colouration, I would guess it is Antheraea polyphemus, a silkmoth.

  • You nailed it! good job.

  • I hope I'll never find one of those in my room

  • isnt it that when moths or butterflies are born from the pupae, their back are swollen, but then it's used to pump some kind of fluid to the wings to make them bigger and harden so it will be able to fly? Im pretty sure of it..

  • its a female moth of some species. Only male moths go to and fly to find a mate and the female walks around pooping eggs everywhere.

  • its a moth thats about to make a "delivery"

  • It looks like a moth that hasn't metamorphasised properly, and so is stuck in a transitional stage between pupae and maturity.

  • it is not weird looking, it just leaved her pupa, the wings havent open, the "blood" havent circulated thru the articulations of the wings, thats all

  • looks like a diformed moth, her body got all messed up while she was transforming in the pupa, shes so fat she cant fly, she gona be murdered by predators soon im guessing.

  • it should be burnt...just my opinion though...=P

  • LOL U R so cruel!!!

  • sorry, Im a massive bug-a-phobe

  • It's most definitely NOT a cicada. From the very first moment to the very last moment of this video it is quite clear that it is a moth. Sigilvii is right, it's a female Saturniidae Saturniinae. Probably Saturnia pavonia or Saturnia pavoniella. I don't think her abdomen is still in the pupa though. The abdomen is that large because it's full of eggs.

  • Its a cicada! look it up, the are born underground then burrow there way up and live in the dirt until theyre wings mature.

  • it's a sphinx moth. I have a pupa of one and am waiting for it to do the thing in the video

  • arent they blind?

  • It is a young moth.

  • It is a moth. It just came out of its pupa, so its wings are not dried yet, and its abdomen is still in the pupa. It's definitely not a mole cricket, which does not hold its wings out to the sides, nor does it have such large antennae. It's hard to tell, but it could be a male in the family Saturniinidae, which has some of the largest and most beautifully colored moths.

  • you are quite luky to have 1 in your backyard - they are extrememly RARE

  • looks like the "mole cricket", its a cricket with big front legs for burrowing under the ground. it lays its eggs inside and your "bug" looks like a baby mole cricket. I think it was a new species found in 1994 or something..

  • it looks liek it might be a cicada?

  • it is it cant really fly well because the wings are wet poor thing is struggling

  • thats what I thought

  • moth trying to get out of cocoon?

  • it is a child of incest

  • whoa...what the hell....looks like a mutated moth caterpillar thing
