I have a '07 dodge Nitro R/T and the transmission broke @ 20K. milles. I get average of 15 city/19 hwy on gas thats really bad. had problems with steering all the time also i feel the knoking on the steeringwheel. The dealer ship never fix it while still under warranty. I don't like dodge.

I just realized that the nitro sold in Europe have a 2.8 diesel engine. They get 44mpgs over there, but the clackety-clacks are loud. Imagine what the nitro would be like with the MB CDI engine in it.

This car's very nice, and would be nicer if it had a nice quiet diesel option for it. Mercedes' Sprinter 2.7L inline 5 CDI with it's 5 speed transmission would be perfect, and would get mpgs in the high 20s/low 30s. Guys @ chrysler need to stop limiting their inovativeness too much.

where the shifter is located it looks like the passenger would be the one shifting. plus the windows are really short hard to see out of if your tall like me. other then that i like it.

Now i know i want this car and in the R/T model, it will be a nice upgrade from a 92' jeep cherokee with a 4.0L engine and this nitro has slightly more power too, the jeep has 243!!

I think Nitro got bad ass look, just wish normal everyday going to work 9 till 5owner guy would make his own version review. sick of looking what they call car experts, wich would not recommand a model cause bass is not loud enough, comme on get in real word.

i have on 07 RT, shes got a decent amount of get up and go and she can hold a ton of stuff for when your moving, i also took her on a 1800 mile road trip and it was a blast!

you were obviously destitute at the time of purchasing a dodge nitro that you had to buy it. the dealers have a hard time selling them, so they give them away taking a substantial loss. either that or you're mentally challenged. if you wanted a car with a shitty interior, bold looks, but actually has the capability, build quality, and grunt to match, why would you buy this over a nissan xterra? like i said, either you just took the cheapest thing around, or you're retarded. which is it?
