I was looking at this camera today. Do you think it is worth getting? It is quite cheap, all I am wondering is, what are the stills like? Are they ok, quality, does it have a flash?
I like the camera. Gives good quality @ 720p 60fps. 1080p it is more sensitive for movements. Price is very good. Comes with a standard memory of 32 mb, so you need a SD card (can go to 32Gb) look for my latest movies to check the quality.
Thnx, I made the plane from a pdf plan foame3D from 3Dbatix. I can send you a pdf of it. I didn't make a flat out of it but I glued several layers of depron on each other and afterwards I shaped it with sandpaper. Also for the wings. It is some more work but the result is very nice.
Do you have the hdmi cable for the picsio? i have the picsio but i was wondering if the quality when using the hdmi is similar to in your video. When i use the VGA cable it isnt very clear, but when i upload to youtube and click HD then it beecomes clear.
absolutely! I was looking for a small light 1080p pocket camera. Also looked for the Sony MHS-PM1 with the rotatable lens. But it has that expensive memery stick and the colors and night performance of the JVC are better. Only minor issue are the .mov files which my video editor can't handle.

I use a IT-works 8 GB SDHC card. Make sure you use a high capacity card because the old one's can give problems with quality.

Is it just me or the picsio has an audio hiss?

The hiss is the echo audio effect that I added with Magix video deluxe editor.

no not that, like while you are filming with no music, you hear this high pitch sound..

Ok, I think you hear the highway which is nearby. The micro of the picsio is ok but don't expect a dolby digital 5.1 performance.
