@bbwgoi how do you keep the "new dogs" in with the gate open all hours of the night (the one by the Mounted Police Sign) and the huge hole in the fence?
Me and my friends have been there a few times! its so interesting to search and walk around and just go everywhere. i loved it! although if uyou do go bring a bunch of flashlights. its kind of hard to see in those tunnels. also sometimes it does get pretty creepy. haha but anyways im trying to upload the rest of my videos. stupid videocamera wont work. Anyways. Central State Is amazing! haha
My dad used to be in charge up at Central State when it was controlled by the Indiana State Motor Pool. I've been in all of the buildings and all the underground tunnels. The buildings aren't that creepy, but the system of underground tunnels that are locked are pretty damn creepy. The grounds are owned by the State Police for training now.
I'm a tour guide at the Indiana Medical History Museum which sets on the grounds at Central State.....I welcome anyone who wants to try and "sneak" on the grounds for an investigation......our new dogs should love how you taste!
yeah its pretty well gaurded by cops but there is this opening in the back by the church i go to and a park that is super easy to get into ...me and my cousin would sneak in through there all the time
i'v been there plenty of times, cops are bad there now though since about a year ago someone broke in some part and stole some shit. seems like everytime we go back we get spotted by cops now. i think its owned by the police now anyways. i been through every part of central state, we even got locked in one of the buildings once. buddy shut the door to the stairs and when we tried to open it, the door handle fell off, took us a pretty long time before we found a way out lol.
that bitch is stupid. i went there, got the tour of the dead house and medical museum. then i asked an impd guy parked near the power plant if i could check out the other buildings. i did, no big deal. the biggest fear u would have there is of getting robbed or eaten by a homeless crackhead that may live in one of the buildings.
try being 11 years old and gettin lost inside of bahrs dude it sucks
ive see orbs and fuckin images and seen shit and ive heard stuff on evp so dont fuckin say some shit like that man. my mom my gramma and my dad were all admitted there in bahrs
@stratocaster102 My dad was there as well I was a kid he was there for the first time in like 1960 do you have information on the names of the doctors on staff at the time, I have a couple that my dad told me about and tht he was forced to take medication and it was experimental and he has never been the same
@Rasputynne the patients here were beaten raped and murderd and the bodies were buried in the grounds around it and shoved into tunnels this place is by far thefreakiest mental asylum in the u.s. by the way i've been two the so called haunted asylum in maryland and it was deffinatly haunted but i would rather live the rest of my life there then spend a night in the tunnels of this asylum
i am doing research on this place I lived by this until I was 6. Currently if you dare to go into these buildings alot of cmompanies own them like the police where they keep the police horses...so try to get permession and ask for a someone/guide to take you around. DO NOT ENTER THESE BUILDINGS WITHOUT PERMISSION OR BY YOURSELF!!! There is however a medical history musuem there.
OK most hauntings are NOT from 1-4am simply because they are reported at all times-- and if you're going to try to prove them, then you have to recreate them at the time they happened- at any rate, this Central State site sucks and doesn't even begin to tell the real history or stories that haven't been rehashed to death!
central state mental hospital is in Indianapolis,Indiana it sits behind an old fire station on the corner of W.Washington and Tibbs. it is still standing today but it was shut down in 93 because the employees were beating, raping and killing the patients.Alot of dead bodies were buried in the yard.
@rukiaXtheXsoulreaper i went there and there werwe tunnels dug into the brick going all over the grounds and i heard that they would shove bodies in there the place freaked me out we explored the tunnels for an hour or so and heard nothing but we replayed th evp recorder and there was sreaming almost the entire hour
i've been to this place many times...and it is a very very scary place to go to...especially at night at around Midnight. this place is literally one of the most haunted sites in the state of Indiana.
Enjoy it while it lasts, the city sold it to developers a few months ago. The Bahr building is the creepiest with the "quiet" rooms and it was after all, the one for the criminally insane.
As a member of the paranormal group who went here, I can tell you it is a scary and disturbing place. Go to the IMAX in Indy...Sat. 10/21/06 @ 7PM. Those who do will be rewarded with a awesome surprise after the movie!!
