great video, just bought some of these cameras and got something for running the cords into the computer, but i cant find a program to run them with. what did you use?
hahaha !! i bought 3 system like this one and I tell you that they are not as good as they look´s like..... see my video Brand New 2.4Ghz HeliCam - a Micro Wireless Video Camera and read the description, I explain everything there.
could you view video wirelessly plugged into my computer in a field. Say if i wanted to mount the camera to a helicopter and watching live video on my computer?
@SLA224477 I just bought all the stuff tonight to do that and i hope it works the only thing i am concerned about is if i will get very good reception. But that is what i can to this video for to
@MultiMinecraft123 NitroRCX dot com, go to the FPV camera section, and click the 2.4 ghz wireless camera. Range is about 50m no obstructions (also depending on the battery)
This is a cool little guy. I have an idea. How about installing it into an object and make it run off that objects juice by making a mod. Also does the receiver have to be in range of cam 24-7 also could you also do a review of software used with detailed receiver hook up. You did a great review and I demand you create another review of this unit's receiver. I will sub and rate this up. Good job btw.
@bfudge85 Thank you for your feedback! You could probably pitch the voltage divider all together and hook it up to a 5v source (such as an R/C car receiver) That way you wouldn't have to worry about more weight or another power supply. The camera can, indeed, go out of range of the receiver, and then re-enter without another tuning. If you want, go to KipKay's channel and look up Blue tooth Hack for a super long range 2.4 Ghz antenna
@TacoTormentor it is cool that you fancy kipkay as do i. I will check it out. Thank you for the advise. I was going to hook it up to an rc toy for my 6yr old son. well check you out later when you make new videos.
hehe...saying 2.4 Ghz means nothing for what brand it is, as almost EVERYTHING is 2.4 gigHz these days. Good review, though. By the way, the bad audio is mainly due to the EasyCAP. If i recall correctly, the audiio off that camera is pretty good.
i looked on the website and ive got one and the range is 450 Feet line of sight / 150m

hey kid, does your camera interfere with your wireless router? because I can't run both at the same time. Oh, and you paid too much.

Does this camera record video?
E1INS3 7 months ago
@E1INS3 No, you would require an RCA to USB adapter (like the EasyCap I use in the video) This just streams video to a TV
TacoTormentor 6 months ago
@TacoTormentor or you could use one of those little portable video recording thingies...

Deinterlace the video to get rid of scan lines.

4:20 it's auto exposure, not white balance. White balance only controls the colour.
