Nice rig man... i just wonder something about the soundcard - asus essence stx.
will i actually notice any diffrence in game(basicly fps)? right now im using onboard with no x-fi drivers.. (win7) im afraid for using that much money and may not notice it when gaming. Cheers
Well, it really depends. The sound card is great and made to be used with a good pair of headphones as the card has a built in amp. So this card with a good pair of headphones is awesome and worth it. If you don't use headphone look elsewhere imo. This card is great all rounder for gaming, movies and especially music :) The only con I see is that it needs its own power connector. But this good because the card will get reliable power. Hope that helps.
how fast does ur temperature raise after u turn of the pump (i got a homemeade CPUcooling block and it takes about 4 mins for the temperature 2 go upp 20 degrees
Yes, it is possible to turn of the controller, but the fans will be very load in my case. I use the controller to keep the fans at a decent sound/performance ratio :)
I have the psu like that for a reason. If I flip it, it's going to be ok but when I'm going to have to clean the filter it's going to be a pain, because the pump is blocking the filter from being removed.
pretty loud

Tasty rig man. What do you have the I7 overclocked to with the water cooling?
CrapnellGates 1 year ago
Well for 24/7 use I got the i7 overclocked to 4.2GHz with 1.12 volts. For benching, I got the i7 overclocked to 4.8Ghz with 1.5 volts.

lol thanks, but what were you expecting from 3x 120mmx120mmx38mm fans and 4x 120mmx120mmx120mm fans and 1x 230mm fan :)

What temps are you getting then? Also like to say that those drive bay reservoirs look sick :D.

Yeah those bay reservoirs do look good, I idle at 25c and load at 35c :)
