@emmeg516 Aerith first took interest in him because she saw Zack in him, and wants to meet the real Cloud. Tifa loves Cloud but has trouble coming out and saying it, and it doesn't flourish until near the end of the game. Yuffie is young and has no idea what she's doing. Barret misses Marlene. The gayness aside, I really like the Barret and Cloud scene. He misses Marlene, it must tear him apart while they're going on this huge journey, especially when he realizes it's much bigger than him.

If you've dated Aeris, you'll realize that this song suits her because, when you think of it, the song was like Aeris saying "goodbye" because the date scene is her last "moment" with Cloud isn't it? And she died sooner after this :/

@MayaNatsume1021 Aerith can talk to the planet. She most likely knows about Cloud's past and knows that hes just imitating Zack. So she may actually mean she wishes she could meet the real Cloud. Which from the way she phrases it "I wish" also may mean that at this point she knows she is going to die soon.

man I cry everytime I hear this song, I believe that this is the song that is playing when Cait Sith dies?  That was the hardest moment of any game I have ever played. Bawled my eyes out even more then when Aeris passed away. Beautiful beautiful game.

This is one of my favourite moments in the game. I chose Tifa as she was in love with Cloud but his heart belonged to Aeris. Its like there is more in what's not being said. Beautiful.
