This really shows the difference between the Genesis and Snes the Snes game has better sound color and smoother graphics but it is really slow compared to the Genesis game.

Ahhh...I remember I played this game with my Grandpa...who was 54 by the way...

and he was SO GOOD in this game...when I was 6 I got to the level where you have to kill dragons at the end....Mmy grandpa is dead now...he passed at 54...thats why I will download this game to the wii so i can remeber how i played it with him :'(

Nice run! I like this run better than most others mainly because you actually allow yourself to lose a couple of times (which is always a good laugh to watch xD)

A hard game that doesn't compare to Ghosts n Goblins. Ghosts n Goblins is the hardest son of a bitch game I ever played. And that was just on the NES. I can't imagine how frustrating it is on the arcade until I play it. This is good and so are the predecessors. Hard generally.

Gargoyles, fucking grand champions of the annoying enemies. The biggest problem of the game is that you must beat all to levels 2times just like Ghost n Goblins, who the hell is motivated/skilled enought to do that(the levels are way harder at the second time).

I will agree that this game is really hard but, Zombies ate my neighbors is waaaay harder then this game! i never cleared that one only got to around lvl 43 or so.

You really do suck at this, don't you? =P J/k. You're doing pretty well, but the army of the dead really had you there for a while. I used to actually beat this with little to zero dead. Not when I started of course, that was pretty bad just the same. Looking back at it I find myself giving instructions. Lots of the times you died wasn't really necessary. Thanks for the vid! One of the best games ever!!

actually, Super ghouls n ghost is the sequel of ghouls n ghost on arcade. that's why here you see water instead of wind. and if you look closely, you see that the character here can perform double jumps: that was impossible in ghouls n ghost arcade

i passed the game back in 2001 with the 3rd lever power up (the tornado power) in easy and with 8 lifes and it was the biggest achievement ever, i was 9 years old and it was intense.... good job dude, this reamins me a lot of shit.
