  • Stupid Idiot -.-

  • Why would you cut away "Main" at 300 feet? He's a lucky man. Must not of paid attention in class. Glad he's okay though.

    JB

  • The trees saved him from a true disaster. This was more of a mishap since all he got was an ankle sprain.

  • so I'm guessing he didn't use his other 29 jumps?

  • This guy was a fool. His course prior to first jumping was 6 hours long and told him view to deal with certain malfunctions.... As a student he opened at 5500 ft and was open around 4500. That means this dip shit had a loooooong time to cutaway if he felt he couldn't land.

  • If you are dumb enough to jump out of a plane, then whatever comes your way is not my problem. Keep making dumb decisions.

  • You are a tard.

  • somehow this was kinda funny in a shitty way, who does that i mean if ur not drunk or high.

  • @theSKATINGbananas you are right but hes a poor nigger they have no money for commando pro LOL

  • this is quite impressive. I wonder is his shoot had RSL and sky-hook

  • @vzaimis1 Loo

    ked like RSL to me

  • @theSKATINGbananas cod fag alert! commando isn't even real!!! idiot!

  • i thought balck guys can fly ?

  • I would NEVER skydive!

  • @hunster990 Would you ski?

  • @BENebuchadnezzar yeah. i go on a skiing field trip this year for school.

  • @hunster990 Well, skydiving's safer than skiing. More people are injured or killed by percentage whilst skiing than skydiving. People just hate the idea of falling to their death, that's the only reason for the prejudice against the sport, also the fact that you have to rely upon your equipment to save your life each time, people don't like the idea of not being in control of absolutely everything, even though they themselves are the biggest liability. The equipment's safe as houses.

  • @BENebuchadnezzar yeah, i suppose you're right, i just really dont like heights.

i freak out when i have to fly.

  • ah the good old sprained ankle! has saved me from peril so many times, thanks ankle.

  • such extreme situation in a smart person would enhance brain activity and level of focus. possibly self control.

  • fucking lucky and zero technical sense or intuition like a woman. anybody would have known or felt that the distance is too short to make the second shute deploy

  • Feel Sorry 4 Him!

  • what? is he stupid?

  • no he deserves a broken leg at least for being that stupid

  • Im sorry if this sounds blunt but i would have no sympathy for people like this, this is just down right stupid, you make up your mind and do the drills high up to give plenty of time to cut, i hope he wasnt allowed back into the air

  • @ricardod19 Well, it was his first time.

  • @ricardod19

I think it was the companies fault for not supplying him with... oh I don't know... a normal parachute?

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt that the steerable kind of parachute?

  • lucky bastard he only got a sprained ankle. that would teach him a great lesson nonetheless

  • Stupid people shouldnt jump!

  • wow ,he could be the first black james bond 007.....what a geezer......

  • @theSKATINGbananas Yes i have retard

  • Eek, just the kind of thing my instructors tell me NOT to do.!

  • Comment removed

  • @theSKATINGbananas what has that got to do with any thing ?

  • something bad always happens to a black person

  • ok take course first then jump u dumbass

  • 3 S's... Square, Steerable and Stable. His pull altitude on a first jump would have been at least 5000 ft. (wave off at 5500, pull by 5000). By 4000 he should have realized he did not have a fully square and steerable canopy and cut away. This was COMPLETELY avoidable. Not a hero...just flippin' LUCKY.

  • should have had a v8

  • Ballsy man.... though I am happy you came out on top i have to agree, not very smart brother..

from 7 years of Special Forces Jumping I'd say, dont do that again.....

  • totally agree with virtualcontext1975 he was an idiot... below 1000 ft he was committed to his canopy... ive had the same problem and its easily steerable... just have half brakes on the left toggle and drop it just before the flare....

  • i fell 6 ft off a pole and broke an arm. that guy fell 300 ft feet first and a sprained ankle. whats so special about him? he was trying to commit suicide but failed.

  • Better land with half a parachute than with no chute at all

  • In my book, this guy is a hero. To size up a problem and take courageous action to fix it is what true heroes are made out of. Rock on, my brother!

  • @TheCannonofMohammed No, this man was an idiot. One of the first things you're taught for your first jump is to cut that shit away if it's not controllable, which for a student, and considering the problem, probably wasn't. He had roughly 4700 feet under a stable canopy to "size up his problem and take courageous action". Long story short he had brain lock and didn't follow his training, and got lucky as hell. That is not a hero, not by a long shot.

  • Why would he cut? Hmm, ride the rest of it out and be a little off course, or.. LETS CUT IT AND FALL 300 FEET!

  • @zero187x Because he`s a nigger

  • @zero187x lol very rigt thougt es bit stipid o im just oona cut myself wen i can land same plaee but wit no spraind ankle dibbo

  • Did he even have training or was this one of those idiotic weekend warrior things where you pay a chunk of money to do that? My son is Airborne and some of the stories I have heard from guys who have a bunch of jumps still have had things happen but they are better equipped to deal with them. This was stupid.

  • I wonder if he continued with the course...I hope that won't happen on my first jump :)

  • Why didn't he ride the primary chute as opposed to landing the backup under inflated .He's a lucky man !

  • Why unhooked??

  • Why did he cut? His chute looked fine to me.

  • I believe i can ‘‘splat!‘‘

  • Typical black man... always in the bloody bushes -.-

  • stomme idioot

  • at 300 ft. you are stuck with the chute you got... good or bad your only option is to ride it out.

  • don't be too harsh on a guy making his first jump...but yeah, what a doughnut...

  • Glad he was ok, stop hating anyone can make mistakes.........

  • he is an idiot i hate him for what he did

  • @ussardor why?

  • wow you make big wrong..

  • fucking ads... seriously, we want the old youtube back

  • bahahaha a for real fuckin idiot!

  • @RBCHOKE But he jumped didn't he ? And he survived as a first time jumper. I would say every fear you can imagine was going through him. Certainly whatever he did not do right he will learn from it. What he did right was stay alive.

  • He was most fortunate to get away with that move.

  • People seem to forget that it was his first jump.

  • lucky guy

  • What a Plonker

  • "forced to cut himself free" ..... due to stupidity.

  • This guy is VERY lucky! Never cut away at such a low altitude! Either ride that sucker in, or cut away much higher. One very lucky dude....................

  • it's just a poor kind of man... totally stupid !

  • i fell off a 10ft wall and broke both of my bones in my left leg- that guy is a lucky cunt

  • @owencotcot 10ft is nothing.... how did that happen wow

  • @daasianboi I slipped Lol :(

  • @owencotcot You have three bones in your leg.

  • mark, as you may know, black ppl is not made to fly, so please stay on the ground, do your business and please save the grave to someone who is really worth it.

    Thank You

The White People Association ( WPA ).

  • no control check after pull?

he pulls at 5k and he waits till 300

    IDIOT

    Blue skies

  • @ultimateloser0 I doubt he knew he was headed for a power line from 5k up

  • that was stupid

  • That was a very 'wise' decision to cut away at 300 ft. ..lol Lucky bastard..;)

  • 10 facts about you: 1. You are reading this comment 2.You are realizing that is a stupid fact 4.you didn't notice I skipped three 5. You're checking now 6. You're smiling 7. You are still reading my comment 9. You did not realize I skipped eight 10. You're checking again and smiling about how you fell for it again. :) 11. You are enjying this 12. You didn't realize there are only supposed to be ten facts Copy and paste this on ONE video...And tommorrow will be the best day ever

  • @fire95ball1 there is 10 facts... but i failed none of them...

  • @fire95ball1

1 fact about you: 1. You are gay

  • I am glad this had a happy ending. It scared the shit our of me.

  • wth you NEVER cut away that low!

  • good thing he didnt let go over a lake

  • A sprained ankle??? NOT EVEN A BREAK?

WHAT THE HECK... (Not being racist but OMG.. thats LUCKY)

  • 0:01

  • In my point of view, he just committed to suicide.

  • AFF pulls you at 5500 ft... He had 3000ft to determine if he wanted to keep that chute or not... there is no reason to cut away at 300 ft... Unless he wants to become a base jumper...

  • Either instructor did not pay enough attention to the emergency procedures, either big tough guy just freaked out. Anyway, he was supposed to jump with a radio headphone, that alows the instructor to guide the student through the landing procedure. I'd say the guy just panicked. And did not listen. The skydiving itself isn't dangerous. Stupidity is.

  • @Drutka77 sorry man but you cant hear shit on those radios its his fault he should not have cut away at 300ft

they go over that before your jump

  • is he dead

  • ... is he retarded?? who cuts a fully inflated parachute from their head at 300 feet... should've just ridden it out, he was heading into trees anyways... better than no parachute

  • @tomgledhill7 maybe he wouldn't have sprained his ankle lol

  • Skydiving is not for the faint of heart. The lack of quick thinking under stressful situations = death.

  • And I might add that I've personally witnessed two deaths and one near-death from jumping. One was a stupid mistake of not maneuvering around power lines. Arc'd a flame that to this day I've never seen before. The other was a student static-line that failed to disconnect from the plane. The student failed to open his reserve after the jm cut the line. And the other near-miss was a student that had a snivel and barely opened his reserve above the treetops after falling from 2800'

  • Comment removed

  • He could have landed his parachute with a pilot chute pulling on some lines. He got scared and then panic set in. I've safely landed tandem students with the drouge through the nose.

Don't cut away something you can land. PLF if you must.

  • @kickkick90

viewing the situation for what it is, this man made some HUGE mistakes. The man should have cut away much much sooner, students like him will deploy their parachutes at 5,500 feet, the parachute should be fully open by around 4,500 feet, after this you have a LOT of time to check out the parachute before landing, at this point he should have cut away. He is dumb because of his actions, not because of his skin color.

  • omg stupid comercials

  • What a dumbass... hopefully he is banned from jumping ever again...

  • thats amazing!

  • omg wuz he evr lukky

  • @kickkick90 not cut the first parachute at 300 feat, pretty stupid

  • When you go through ground school they teach you about these kinds of things. For instance, they teach you about the hard deck. For students that is usually 2500ft. After that, if you have a decently working parachute, don't cut away especially at 300ft. That could have killed him. He could have landed the parachute. He just had to correct the right turn by pulling the left toggle down some more. Should have cut it much earlier if he was going to cut away.

  • This guy was told everything and had a walkie talkie, he was flying a perfect parachute he said " it didnt look like i was going to clear the trees under this parachute so i thought i would try the other 1" the RSL saved him just goes to show, im not racist but theres a reason there are not many black skydivers....

  • @judedre sounds pretty racist to me..

  • dopey dumb fuck complete retard shouldnt be allowed to operate any kind of machinery not instructors fault he dumber than bag of rocks bet he cant swim either.....

  • i feal bad for you buddy hope you feel better!!!!

  • There are other videos of this on Youtube, in which the instructor describes watching in amazement as this guy cut away from a perfectly good chute. This guy is an idiot!

  • @fullyautomated actually reserves are designed to open within 250 feet.

  • i blame the teachers who didnt mention.."hey bro...below 1000...ur stuck" ...poor instructors

  • This isn't just cause 2 man:P

  • wow

  • Luckiest black man alive..

  • God

  • Thank gos

  • That was extremely fail! He almost killed himself!

  • Oh my god! What is the first thing you learn about the reserve shute? Do not open it under 1200 feet! Isnt it?

  • Fucking idiot. He should have died cutting away at 300 feet. Once you are below 1000 you are committed. He had a long time to get his shit fixed or to cut away at a good altitude. The only "disaster" I see here is a dipshit that tried to kill himself and is lucky to be alive.

  • @virtualcontext1975 He didn't die . That's a lot of hate you got there

  • @HYPNOTICVIDEO The only thing I hate is when people screw up and make bonehead moves like this and make the sport of parachuting look more dangerous than it actually is. If he had listened in class they tell you these things. Like "make sure your chute is squared away while you still have time to cut away", and "never EVER cut away below ~1000 feet." and "cutting away at 300 feet will KILL YOU" - "dead".

  • @virtualcontext1975 Tell that to Arnold from the chute scene in Eraser lol

  • relax i dont think he tried to kill himself be happy he is alive

  • @virtualcontext1975 Haha I wouldn't put it like that. But yes, I don't understand why he didn't just cut it earlier if he had a backup chute.

  • @virtualcontext1975 ...wtf? Don't be such a tool.

  • OH MY !!! When I watched it and saw he was falling I was like "OH SHHHHH"!! I was sure he died!!! Amazing luck he has....Wow , incredible!!!!

  • He wasn't "Forced" to cut away. He was poorly trained, or did the wrong thing anyway. When a chute opens. You immediately do a controlability check. Had he done so. He would've chopped it @alt. As it was. He could have countered w/a little reverse toggle. The trees saved him. Reserves take 400ft to open, & start to slow you down.

  • He should be dead cutting away at 300ft. Moron... Do not reproduce.. Seriously..

  • sprained ankle, wtf!?

  • Sounds like somehow the forest broke his fall... anyone who would do a cutaway at 300 ft is crazy... if he was wearing an altimeter, he should have used his reserve by 1000 feet at least. I really wonder if some of these skydiving videos on YouTube are legit... you can't just purchase some jumps without jumping tandem first and getting your AFF which takes seven levels to get through and you're taught how to handle situations like this. Some of these videos are fishy.

  • Like hell if it was his first jump....

  • Jesus Christ cut your chute at 300 feet thats Mad. So wish we had footage from you on the way down.

  • Only idiots cut away at 300 ft. And only idiots cut away with a main that good.

  • i wonder if he did the other 29 jumps

  • Mark Banini failed his course of instruction. He was certainly told on many separate occasions what the minimum altitude to begin emergency procedures for a main canopy malfunction are and he didn't follow those instructions. He's lucky to be alive.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

  • hes black. he can jump 300 ft. and still survive.

  • @emfury11 True story. That's probably his average vertical jump and that's why black people are good at basketball.

  • @emfury11 What the hell are you talking about? He's black, not a fucking cat.

  • dump ass

  • Thank god for the RSL

  • thank god he was alryt

  • zzzzzzzzzz

  • dont let him jump again Skydive Sebastian, he's obviously a complete moron

  • I'm a paratrooper with the Canadian Forces. Dude should of rode it out and called for help upon a hung up. Never cut away your main. Especially when it's something like this. The person below me hits the point home though. Lol this guy is lucky to be alive.

  • Dude made the wrong decision, but damn he got lucky!

  • Could he have opened the reserve first before cutting away the main? as in the way paragliders or hang gliders do?

  • @superjezz no, the two canopies may entangle, that`s why you cut away, to give the reserve free space to deploy.

  • @superjezz errrr.....no you cant open a reserve while the main still attached einstein

  • @base320 Sure you can, Its called a canopy transition. Usually done when the Automatic Activation Device opens the reserve during main deployment or soon after. After 9 reserve rides I've never done it but have seen it done. Just so you know. Blue skies---Black death!

  • @Fallnfast i was refering to the case in point, of a fully opened main, i think you will find if you deploy the reserve while under a slow, large canopy like that, it will just pop out and trail behind you, anyway, who really gives a shit.

  • Lucky Motherfucker..

  • Thank God! I just had a scare when on my second jump all the wires of the parachute got tangled and we continued to free fall, twisting insanely. Made my first jump seem posititvely boring. I think I'll take that kind of boring!

  • hey as long as hes alive its all good

  • @swimminglikeaquaman Not really, it was a Very dangerous decision he made :O

  • @Nokitfer yea of course but at least he didn't die and now he'll know not to go sky diving again =]

  • he was forced to cut himself free? he is a fucking idiot. listing to ur instructor next time. im sure they told you not to cut away after 2000 ft. specially went you had a full open parachute.

  • Cut's away at 300! WTF.

  • Poor suicide attempt? Skydiver 0 - RSL 1

  • @putznutz RSL? Whats that?

  • @DarkStorm007 It's "Reserve Static Line". It's attached to the main canopy so when you cut your main canopy away, it is designed to deploy the reserve immediately following. Helps reduce the amount of time that you have no canopy overhead in the event of a failure.

  • Ok I just started jumping and you are not suppose to cut away and deploy your resrve at 300 feet. So dumb

  • It's a good thing that not many things can go wrong when skydiving.

  • WOW thats the most simple line over malfunction ever and his pilot still was doing well.....people make this sport dangerous not the sport itself!

  • i dont know if i should laugh or whine...:S

look at his fucking face...HE LAUGHING

poor instrutors who watch that in real...they have a reason to be pissed for so much stupity

  • Ba da mare bou mai esti!!!!

  • fuckin idiot... he should never be aloud to jump again.... he went throught a five hour class and still cant follow directions.... hes gonna end up killing somebody else by his dumb actions.. WHAT KIND OF AN IDIOT CUTS AWAY AT 300 FEET?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!!?!?

  • forced to cutaway at 300 ft?????? bull crap, he was trying to commit suicide, thankfully his dumb aZZ forgot the RSL is hooked up on all student gear so when he cut it away it gave him the reserve chute instantly.... the replay shows nothing wrong with his canopy (including the pilot chute) and he had over 4 minutes flying around his parachute to decide if he wanted to cut it away! What a loser!

  • @atrain910 Holy shit you are stupid! I am sure he thinks it was a bad idea too now, if you fell off a motorbike for example, and was skidding along the road, most people would impulsively try to stop themselves from getting some distance. While that's not the best idea, we all give ourselves a split-second to make a decision, and the best idea in that split-second is what we stick with, he survived, so it worked for him, and saying otherwise makes you one stupid abortion poster-child.

  • @SirSexyAlot "split second decision"...... really! ha ha ha, do you know how long it takes for a student canopy to get down to 300ft ! he probably had 4 minutes to figure it out! , .... and lets not forget, he would have no injuries if he had just landed the first parachute, maybe he thought the cutaway handle was a toggle and flaired, again this guy made it into a big publicity stunt, and in turn I pay more for 3rd party insurance because of idiots like him

  • isn't that the black dude that got beat up by 4 Los Angeles police cops?

  • Dumm ass!!

  • better to open reserve... to 2 out situation at this altitude than this piece of shit (= his action, not him)

  • I am going through my AFF and so far i have been told NEVER to cut away below 2500... i believe that number should be closer to 1500... either way this guy did a dumb move :D

glad he is alive and still kickn!

  • panic but fair play

  • whts name this song ?
