@Bartsudz99 They were getting greedy. They knew Rev Road would get notice and was a larger role so they campaigned her as supporting so that she had to opportunity to win both awards. They tried campaigning still for the Oscars but it backfired and her Rev Road nom wasnt counted and she was upgraded to lead for The Reader (rightfully so)

Revolutionary Road was fairly forgetable and to be teamed with De Caprio for the first time after Titanic, it was truly disappointing. The Reader was one of those movies I usually wouldn't go see, I wouldn't go see it agian but I am truly glad I did see it. It stays with you...although the ending was anti-climatic and just.....

Yo she deserves it. I just saw the reader and didnt have intentions of seeing it and it was great. One of my favorites now but I havent seen the other one she was in and Im gon check it out. All this time she hasnt one anything and look. She did great. Im glad she made this movie the reader.

I watched THE READER yesterday, it made me cry when she taught herself how to read in jail! I couldnt believe it that her character rather went to prison, then to admit that she's illiterate. Also in REV.ROAD I could feel her character's desperation and pain so much! God she is such an outstanding actress!!!!
