These little cuties reminds me of a Finnish Spitz my parents used to have. I was bullied at school during my high school years, so coming home after another day of beatings and harassments and be greeted by her wagging tail always kept me going. Sadly though, she passed away a few years ago at the age of 13.
Finnish spitzz are fairly rare, but can be found. Owning one may take a good hearty searching for. My brother has one. He insisted on the breed becauuse he grew up with one. He lives in Rochester Ny, and drove 4 hours to Pennsylvania to get her.
Hang on a minute, why is one of them in that small cage in the corner of the big cage?? that's not very nice! Everyone else can play but not him! What's this about???
Aw, they are so cute! I'd love to have one of them, but I don't think our dog would let another dog in our house. My mum found a little Jack Russle puppy wondering the streets once, and when she tried to take it home so that she could report it found my dog (Who she was walking at the time) just went nuts at the poor diddy thing. Jumping up at biting it and generally being very jealous and mean. She had to take her(the puppy) to the local kennel in the end cos our dog was just being so dangerous.
Oh my god you bred puppies, when there are soooo many shelter dogs in need . . . lol j/k. I got so much crap like that when I bred my beagles, about how I was killing other puppies, and irresponsible. Blah. Great looking pups, very cute, I'm sure they will make some family very happy.
Draggar, there is no need for you to defend yourself against a loudmouth, ignorant moron. As long as you are a responsible breeder you don't need to justify it to anyone. :)
Some people would just love to see purebred dogs disappear off the face of the planet.
Thank you for the insult. Why don't you go read a book on dog genetics and learn about responsible / reputable breeders as opposed to thinking everyone is a puppy mill.
Let me fill you in on something: we also help out malinois rescue a lot (transport, pulling form shelters, fostering, money, supplies, etc..). We also do a lot of work with collie rescue (money, volunteering, transport, supplies etc..). My wife is also a professional dog trainer and registered vet tech.
Considering both parents are show champions, both meet (or exceed the standard), have had their hips cleared, and have great personalities..
Plus, we screen each home they go to to not only make sure that the dog is right for the home but the home is right for the dog, all puppies come with health certificates, we're already training these puppies, socializing them, and have a spay / neuter clause in the contract for any "pet", I think we're improving on the breed.
The adult is their mom, Ginger. Kiri doesn't get to play with the puppies because she is still rather "guardy" of her puppy but we do let Artemis (the GSD puppy) play with them (when they're loose downstairs).
aww...adorable :) My mom and I are thinking of getting one. Are they expensive?

If you look closely you'll see that the door to the crate is open - she's in there in her own - I guess she needed a break from her puppies. :)

And that makes it okay?? I don't think so, but you obviously do whatever you want. Perhaps you should be spayed or neutered.

Why is the big spitz sitting inside the cage?
Will you let Kerry inside the enclosure so he can play with the puppies?
