actually rose was 21 i think because in season one when she left she was 19. then when she first came back it was a year, and then in season 2 they had a christmas special which ment another year must have passed.

She's stuck in a parallel Earth, but registered as dead on this one. I heard she is returning, though I've no idea how they're going to do that, since it was said at the time they couldn't re-open the window into the other world once it closed. But yeah, technically she is dead

Maybye the doctor didn't quite shut the rift and Rose really wants to see to see the the doctor again so she gets through somhow and she makes a big sacrifice saving the doctor but she really does die
