I wouldn't call that torrential...I've seen rain so heavy in other storms that you could hardly see the trees 100 feet away. But a good storm never the less.

BUT..I got a nice one from 7/1/09 on YouTube....I think you'll like that one.....lotsa good lightning and thunder...and whiteout conditions.
I remember this. i was at the NHL Draft party at the coliseum, and it just got pitch black outside, it was amazing. it was pretty good in amityville too.
This was some storm. We got it much worse here in Coram, it was crazy. I was thinking about you during the storm and if you were recording it, I'm glad you did. Awesome lightning bolt at the end there.
Where I was, I actually missed the worst of it. Everyone around me in the neighboring towns all got hail, yet the hail missed my exact area. I'm so pissed about that. It would have been cool.
dude this is a cool vid but u should have been in port jeff cause it was crazy it hit up directly we had hail huge lightnight and the thunder was so loud my cam couldnt pick it up. i just put a vid up on it

im in suffolk so yeah we get bad storms lol, they're fun sometimes though. last night there was a tornado warning for my area. it was bad.
