A girl who was dedicated to the devil after birth, abandoned and raped... That is gonna cause alot of psychological issues with her. I'd think she was thought of being possessed because she had trauma in her life. Not a demon. She needed medicine and a good support system. Not an exorcism.
@brittandbaby the same here i know of a girl who went through exactly the same but she needed both.unfortunatly the church treated her as a lepar patient.but the pastor was loving to her.unfortunatly she was possesed again and started cutting herself again.
How do you know it did not happen? Were you present when the event occured? Certainly if you are a rational person you will admit that terrible evil exists in the world (just have a look at the XXth century) So is it too much of a leap of faith to believe that there are outside influences, good and bad upon the human race?

@witchcerridwen What I mean is that it’s easy to come up with a story. Making up stories are easy to do and no one has any way to disprove them. You would also get a lot of free attention, so why not do it? Nothing is going to stop you and it’s a big payoff.
I’m not saying the devil can’t possess people, but the majority of these stories would be fake, due to the abundance of attention seekers. There's just no hard evidence.
@MrDrProfessor4 well its not fake cuz I've seen him exorcise people in person and my aunt got completely healed just by going for one of his talks she was suffering from a severe case of renal colic...... just saying
