  • If you are competing at high level showing 15.3 is most likely too short, but i have a 15.2 horse who I compete Hunter Under Saddle with at medium level shows and we do really well.

  • Hi does anybody know if you have to have a big horse for Hunter Under Saddle?? My horse is 15.3 hands do you think that's tall enough??

  • Beautiful Horse!!:D Do you have any tips on the AQHA shows? I'm a novice-intermediate rider and I want to show my registered AQHA in a HUS class in Feb 2012 and he knows HUS but I'm new to it, I was thinking of doing a novice class, are those hard?

  • Why does he wear shoes?

  • I loveeeeee your horses colour! So unique <3 great ride

  • can i use this if i give credit?

  • @livelovehorses97 Bah. Thank you. I ride a morgan and I have to show him locally in open shows with QH judges (sucks because the showing styles are WAY different and even though my horse is an AMHA grand champion hunter the AQHA judges always place me lower than the QH's). I started with a morgan hunt seat instructor but now I'm riding under an event instructor and then the AQHA judges ontop of that. lol So I am SOOO confused in the show ring around here.

  • I prefer jumping and dressage but this horse looks really nice =)

  • how much are you asking?

  • Wow, how do they teach them to go so slowly and relaxed? I've always wondered. And you aren't supposed to use square pads, only contoured?

  • @Equestrian08 Either one works. The contoured are like, legit english, then you would wear your number on your back. The squared pads are number pads, so you can have your numbers on either side of your pad.

  • @Equestrian08 In AQHA showing, you always use square pads, you only use the contoured pads in jumping usually. You teach the horse to go slowly by training their muscles in their back to hold them collected and then teach them to rock back on their hindquarters to go slow. The relaxed part just comes from practicing and being comfortable in the show pen.

  • what a wonderful horse!

shame he's not in australia! love to get a foal by him out of my pally paint/pinto QH x TB mare!

  • I love Skys Blue Boy offspring. Nice horse!

  • wow, your gelding looks amazing, Im in the market for a dead broke hunter under saddle/ all around horse. He looks to be great. Wish he was in my price range.
