People can make fun of Idol, but one thing it consistently does is turn out VOCALISTS who can nail a performance live. I have several of the Idol winners and ther top 12 who have made it (IE Daughtery) and they all give great live performances. They don't suck or lipsynch live people like Britney or 500 other pop artists out there.
