I live in alberta, canada. 15 tornadoes on average per year, making it part of canada's tornado alleys. I freak out on thunderstorms, never even seen a tornado, only had like 2 tornado warnings in my life. I still freak out during thunderstorms because im afraid one will come during the night.
Tornadoes rarely hit downtown. However, we do have several tornadoes hit middle and western TN every year. We are not in Tornado Alley but we are close enough that we get several tornadoes. The problem here is that the land is hilly and you cannot see them coming the way you can in the Great Plains states. The tornado is on top of you before you know it. I have lived in TN my entire life and I have never seen one. I was in one as a young child and a funnel cloud passed over my house in '98.
Yeah, they are hard to see. Of course I have never seen one either but I have seen a funnel cloud, I to have lived in TN all of my life, but I live on the side that is extremely rare to be hit.... Maryville right below Knox. We have the great smokies to thank for that lol.
if this was the one from the end of october or early november last yr i remember it.. man i was freaking out i was with two girls from my school (one of them was 8 months pregnant) (overton h.s.) and we left credit recovery around 5 when this happened and we were stuck in my car and in traffic off of blackman dr when this happened... its was pretty darn scary. luckily when it began to hail and get even worst.. we got to one of the girl's house and ran inside.
this video was recorded on November 5th, I was on my car during a tornado, yeah. let's say the tornado was close from us.. so here it is just a storm I guess... an yes it was on white bridge road.
I believe that is white bridge road...Man there were some Tornados tonight! THat's why I'm watching this...It's comforting in a twisted way I guess...I hate tornado's at night.

Reply to below, this video was added before the February Outbreak, so that was another event but it could have been before November 2007.
