  • The piano player isn't even moving.

    Skillz.

  • Love It. Learning it Now!

  • sublime more romantic touch, great

  • im trying to play it for my grade 8 too lol. i think that its more about control than actually getting correct notes if you're playing this for grade 8 lcm since its not too technically difficult given enough practice on some of the harder bars, which is probs why abrsm are doing it for grade 6; they're probably looking for the technical aspects to be correct rather than control. i think its like the sonatina in e flat for grade 7 lcm; not technically challenging but you need to control it :)

  • Great performance, beautiful piece. The only thing I noticed as a fault is at the recapitulation, the last section 8 bars from the end, that the grace note before the G on the down beat is written as an A, but an F# was played instead. This occurs just after 4:50 in the recording. Superb execution otherwise :)

  • Oh I'm playin it for my grade 8 too

It's sucha beautiful piece of music :]

sadly section c lcm for grade 8 isnt so good..

  • @MissEmlehAppleh

It IS a wonderful piece of music, but even much more if played more slowly and softly.

At least, that's my own opinion.

    Geert Dehoux, pianist.

  • Please say who the pianist is on these pieces.

  • Its Franz Schubert

  • Franz Schubert is playing the piano on this recording? Was he resurrected from the dead?

  • BTW, thanks for posting this little known piece, i've never heard it before.

  • I play this piece on my grand 8 piano exam.

  • me too!

  • grade 8? eek im doing it at grade 6 (well, TRYING TO DO IT) *is scared now* no wonder she says i always pick the hard pieces

anyway enough of my rambles, hope it goes well :D

  • grade 6 for which exam board?

its grade 8 LCM but its about how well you play it at grade 8 as requires a lot of control

  • well it was in a grade 6 Associated Board but i wasn't actually doing the exam

yeah i noticed the control bit :D

  • i`m shocked at grade 6!! i did grade 6 aged 13 and could never have played it properly!!

  • Thanks for this. What a wonderful work, and wonderful performance.
