Wow, that was quite a telling statement 2:24 to 2:32. Might explain why Caress of Steel was a commercial (and to most) a general failure. They were so blown away and influenced by Yes, and it would pave the way for the incredible 2112 album just 7-8 months later! Not to mention the succeeding albums!

From 1976 on, Rush was a band we went to see every year without fail. It never got old. It still doesn't, the shows always sound fresh. They have aged well

"you don't have to go to high school to be in a band" but Neil shows a collage ed and a doctorate can get you a 40 year career. He is the reason they aren't glue(as in made from a horse) now instead of a power band.

@fucheduck - Neil does not have a doctorate or even an 'honorary doctorate'. In fact, he did not go to college either, he worked with his father straight out of high school, moved to England once and came back to work with his father again then joined the band and has since worked his craft. There was never any time for him to go to college, but he is a very intelligent and talented person despite not going to college.
