Can jou use a hot glue gun tpp ?

To answer some questions because I make polymer clay charms and deco den all the time. You can but the silicone at any hardware store or walmart. You don't need the gun and such. Just by a small squeezable tube of silicone and super glue a frosting tip to it. The brand I like to use is dap Alex plus. You must bake the bases first. They so not air dry and the silicone cannot be baked. You can get this at just about any craft store. I use the polymer clay brand fimo premonition sculpey and michea

Hi! Just wanted to ask something, did you use regular sewing pins? Because I heard you said "needle pins",... I wouldn't suggest using those, since the wire they're made off of is quite hard and sometimes can ruin your cutters, also you should be careful when cutting them since the part you cut can easily hit you (personal experience x.x). For those cute charms :)), use headpins, they're made for that purpose ;)

Since the silicone didnt really maintain the shape of the decorating tip, I would recommend just squirting it in to a ziploc baggie, and cutting a corner, and using it as a decorating bag. Have you tried this already?

@Mochigo Well, you do know that a microwave and an oven work differently? In a microwave, there's obviously microwaves which causes the things inside to vibrate (their atoms) and therefore making the stuff inside warm. But in an oven, that's pure heat.

@Mochigo paper burns at 451 degrees, as long as the oven is set to below that temperature, the paper won't burn. microwaves don't use heat the same way ovens do...
