  • learn some more riffs, but awesome relic from the digital past my g

  • and this is for???

  • @succionamesta1 Something for you to cry like a 4 year old little bitch about.

  • Who's the Boom King? You da Boom King!

  • The guitar sounds like shit.

  • Sheesh, I know some of you guys get caught up in testosterone, but why guitars? You want to prove how much better you or someone is, but it's a instrument for enjoyment for Christ sake! ENJOY IT.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • Cool does not adequately convey the awesomeness of this guitar.

  • every midi guitar comments section on youtube makes me want to cry a little. why are youtube guitarists such whiny closed-minded shitheads?

  • @GalloBeats its cos they are compensating for something.

  • how much do those cost?

  • He isn't that bad.

    Better than me xD

  • Is there a way to hook up extra synth sounds

  • This is the guitar in the Boom music video by Flight of the conchords :O

  • 0:10 did he just fart?

  • Sounds like Metallica's Frantic vocal part :P

  • THIS IS THE ULTIMATE GUITAR HERO!!!

  • that looks like one of these old game systems slapped onto a stick

  • I saw Flight Of The Concords use one of these once.

  • what are you guys talking about? obiously a real guitar is cooler. the point of this is to get a different sound. i play the guitar too and this obviously isnt a replacement, it just has character.

  • @captainwiggles777 Both are just as "cool" in my opinion, because no instrument is "cool" itself, it is the creavity persued of each. For example, if someone really sucked on a guitar, and made a song that sounded horrible, and had no creativity, that would most likely suck. But if someone made a good song with this, it wouldn't really matter.

  • I'm pretty sure he just wanted to demonstrate the Casio DG20 not his playing skills.

  • gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, Real guitars involve more skiill

  • it seems like a way for people to seem better than they really are. Playing cleanly is a large part of being a masterful guitarist and this seems like it kills that aspect of being a gutiarist...

  • for geeks and wimps who cant deal with cut up finger tips

  • @mattm465 lol. love it. tone will NEVER be the same.

  • why dont you just get a real one.......

  • @knifenewbie456 Real one? Who makes a guitar like this? Way back in the 80s?

  • @knifenewbie456 Because DG20s are electrical creations of gods who love sexy mandalin and drum beats.

  • Thanks for the Demo...now I'm sure I won't buy one

  • It just needs some cocaine and HIV and it will be the ultimate 80's experience. Also cool guitar.

  • a video that's not good enough to show how the thing really works?

  • @PizzicatoArco

i prefer real guitars, they need some skills :/

Tech gadgets are cool, but music becomes more and more synthtic. Autotune, computer mixed sounds. Techno is cool, but Rock is better ;D

  • @LukiXS2 You can't really say rock is better. I like rock more than techno, but that's just an opinion :l

  • @LukiXS2 "They need some skills."

You only like things that need skills?

Does that mean you only listen to technical metal?

You're fooling yourself by saying guitar requires skill and synth guitar doesn't.

They both require the same skills.

  • @LukiXS2 I don't agree with what you say about techno (I don't prefer any music over another), but I agree that skill and craftsmanship is something lacking from modern music. Even a lot of rock music is becoming less and less intricate.

Consider that, in the 1980's, hair metal guitar riffs were considered stupid noise. Now, the guitar work in a lot of mainstream music is a lot less technical. The musicianship and virtuosity for all forms of music is just all gone. It's unbelievable!

  • @radicalgarbage02 couldnt agree with you more

  • I used to own one in 1990, it was cool back then.

  • @omachecker It absolutely is a guitar you dumbfuck.

It's pretty powerful. Not shown by this video though.

  • @omachecker. Dude, it's from the 80s. Relax.

  • hahahahahah funny!!!!!!

u fucking arse... it suprises me that these things arent still being produced. its amazing.. good joke asshole

  • If you ask me, that's reason enough.

  • Or to play through MIDI-based samplers and synthesizers, which you can't do with a normal guitar. Based on your sub-par cover videos I see you're not a real musician, so you wouldn't understand concepts like "creative differences" and not letting one's ego get in the way of making music. Leave your ignorant commentary to yourself, git.

  • @VibeHarmonics bet your fucking ass thats what i do with mine

  • it's not shit

  • Crazy. Businesses are so money-minded these days that awesome innovative stuff like this is scarce. Maybe it's just the economy.

  • I have a couple of Casio DG jams posted

If you would like to take a listen

  • Were yours recorded in 1983, too? What a trip. . . I didn't even think they had video cameras back then. . .

  • 1987 my friend, not 83'

  • im so getting one

  • where can you buy one of these?

  • you can get one off ebay for only $249
