Wish I knew this song by itself. I had the interesting way knowing the existence of the song of being a fan of Tarantino, which lead to being a fan of "Not Quite Hollywood: The wild, untold story of OZploitation", which lead me to "Dead End Drive-In". but oh well, at least I'm listening to it and loving it! :)

Machinations have added a second show at The Bridge Hotel in Rozelle, Sydney. Tix for the first show, Friday February 24, 2012, are still available but they're selling fast. The extra date is Saturday Feb 25. The lineup is Fred Loneragan, Nero Swan, John Mackay, Tim Doyle and Tony Starr. Guest DJ on both nights is Stephen Ferris. No tour, no other venues - this is it. Moshtix has the goodies.

There's been no dvd release of the video, you can't buy it as an mp3, the album isn't available on cd ...it's just idiotic. last clip i remember of Machinations was Trains and Planes on Hey Hey its Saturday sort of an egyptian theme with a live drummer as they had nearly always used a drum machine when touring despite the clip

almost impossible to get on cd only time i ever saw was a music sale and they had burned the vinyls to cd and were charging $50 a pop :( cmon make a compilation guys :)

Without a doubt a total killer track. Was obsessed in this song in 1985 and loved ther video, I was very lucky to get a copy of this video again this year! My favourite Machinations track for sure! It's beautiful, emotional, deep, musical, electrifying, satisfying and legendary. And the lyrics and backing vocals kill me! Sigh, music will NEVER be the same again, N E V E R !
