  • A world without Johnny McEvoy would surely have been less blessed, less musical & less beautiful. Thanks for sharing your talents with us all.

  • WE LOVE YOU IN NEWFOUNDLAND CANADA , IRISH MUSIC IS WHAT MAKES LIFE SWEET THANK YOU MY FRIEND

  • Excellent. Unbelievable Talented Guy....! I went to him in the Glen Eagles Hotel in Killarney years ago and I never heard him sing before, he sat on a stool in the middle of the dance floor with his guitar and sang "Three Score and Ten" I was knocked back to say the least, and they pulled the house down for him. This is one guy you have to hear Live to appreciate his fantastic talent. I will never forget that night.

  • Several years ago,i loved going to a club(pub) Ryan's Irish Pub on Bourbon St in New Orleans. The attraction was an Irish singer and performer who was a spitting image(except his blond hair) in looks and voice of Johnny McEvoy.I still have some of his cassettes somewhere packed in boxes. One of his auto mechanics,(Jerry) was a good friend of mine and introduced me to him.I would love to find if/where he is playing today.Would love to see him perform again. N.N. where are you?
