I turned off my Firewall through Control Panel, booted Limewire, waited until it obtained full bars, and turned my Firewall back on. It's been working for me ever since

go to library and delete some of the the songs or downloads.. and it will be able to connect it worked for me:)

Same problem with me trying to figure out what's wrong with it, I uninstall it and install it back but still doesn't work. But it usually connects 10-30 minutes later.

it for the best. did you know my sister got 7 virus from limewire. do a scan on your pc. find out if your pc have Trojan or other virus. if you was me. don't download limewire. but you not me so do what you like. only if there a way to show you photo of a virus scan.

limewire gives you virus' if you accept unreliable files from it, you need to change the search settings to filter any files that could be harmful

i can help you with that i used to have the same problem just go to your library if you know where that is than highlight everything and right click and hit delete basically it wont work because it doesnt have enough memory and my limewire just takes like half an hour just to turn on any suggestions with that prob

i think they have an answer to this on the limewire web site... its under the F.A.Q.... they say that its a problem with the MacAfee firewall that most new windows Vistas come with, not a limewire problem.

Hey, im having the same problem..

Limewire has ALWAYS WORKED!!

But today about an hour ago, It just never connected again..

im going to post a video about it right now, and see if any of my subscribers know how to fix it.. If i find out how to fix it, ill let you know!
