Japan bought China's debt for two reasons, 1) Best way to generate wealth when you know longer have a population capable of generating exponential growth, 2) China has the worst debt problems of just about any country, they will collapse under it, and Japan relies on their exports to keep growth going.

@neelantra In the lesser dangerous pollutions, true. Our CO2 emissions are the highest because w're spread out and have to use cars.
When it comes to the more damaging particples, such as PM 2.5, China is 50x-100x worse which makes China's pollution problem far worse than ours. Also, remember that almost no one in America has to worry about finding clean air or clean water.
Whereas, in China, by this same standard, only 1% of the Chinese have access to clean air and water.

If theres a world economy collapse, every country will collapse. Saying china will is bollocks because every country will, china is not special in that regard. I terms of rebuilding and rising up from a collapse china seems to be more capable of this like the USA just to call a name.

China has about 1.2 billion people compared to about 300 million in America
The U.S. easily outproduces China in the export category. China merely looks like it exports more due to a massive population that is inefficient..
When comparing America to China by dollar of export per person U.S. is at $4,115 and China is at $1,182.

China's entire economy is dependent upon the U.S.
Without the U.S. corporations and U.S. consumers China would collapse economically. If you notice when purchasing a good manufactured in China it was designed, manufactured, and wages paid for by a western corporation likely American.
China is full of American corporations gaining massive profits and strengthening the U.S. corporate sector.

China is EU's biggest trading partner and so is Brazil and many other countries. americans are too poor to buy from China nowadays. That's why China's GDP is above 9% and us has only 2,3% this year. China is going to make Volkswagon to be number car maker in the whole wide world, usa is fading away into history book as one of average countries, that's all.

The worlds economy is going to totally collapse. I'm 100% sure of that.Australian real estate has been overpriced by at least 50% and people are defaulting on their loans is at an all time high and getting worse and not much in the way of permanent full time work..We are owned and run by a Coles Woolworths Government at the end of the day! Exports from Brazil are 12% US to 13% China, those numbers are also skewed because the Chinese buy mainly raw commodity and the US buy manufactured goods from Brazil; so it's not so black & white . . . So commodity prices and labor/cost of productions sensitivity.
