Colombia loves American policies PRO FOREIGN INVESTMENT (which is necesary) and their presidents obbey all the rules fron the US. However they´ve kept going straight to hell.Remember the famous case of Ernesto Sanper who continued running the country although he had to admit that his presidential campaign had been financed by widely known drug smogglers CARTELES.
@JulioEnoc , Ecuador is far from being a destination for immigrants. They are the largest immigrant community in countries like Spain. So I must say that policies in Ecuador suck too, as people are running away from there to work as house cleaners in Spain for 7 dollars an hour.
And not only Spain but also Italy, since former presidents were too closed to bankers. But the point is that now we´ve started to plan about natural resourcess nationalization, economical equity; and paying the IMF is not our priority anymore; whereas Colombias´governments´ve hated us in this years for those changes and compared current president with Chavez or Castro.
Ecuador has one of the biggest numbers of refugges (without all the smuggling money that Colombia has always had

NOtice how Colombia despite having a democracy, governments which always attack and detest socialism, and thousands of millions of dollars from COCAINE, has deepest problems like the guerrila, paramilitares, autodefensas among many other subversive groups on which all constitutional presidents have been directly involved like Uribe.
This is the second doco I've watched narrated in English with no subtitles for non-english speaking - whats with that? Frustrating. I would like to hear these peoples stories.
