  • Ei hitto! meinasin kaatua tuolillani tohon timonin "äleeeek! mit os örtödök tsinaatok!"-kohtaan, se tuli niin tunteella ja kuulostaa suomalaisen korvaan (ainakin tän hyvin, hyvin väsyneen korvaan) melkoisen hmm, mielenkiintoselta :D Ihan kuin Röllin repliikiltä.

And yeah I think they sound quite similar languages, even into my very finnish ears!

  • This is so weird... but kinda cool.

  • Mut sul on poveria! >:D

  • Tyttö, poika, yhdessä...

I know what it means, I'm a Finn, but it's fun to hear some weird language. xD

~ Smiley loving girl, Darky the cat

  • @Ohimeni94 Toi on niin totta! xD

  • I think hungarian sounds more similar to german? and how are thease related to each other...? if there didn´t read "hungarian" I would have thought it was german..

  • @Typesick2

about the language relationship hungarian /german

well i honestly cant understand a word/sentence in hungarian

languages which sounds quite familiar to my ears are dutch, frisian, swedish, danish, norwegian

hungarian to me sounds somewhat like finnish though more or less in a distant way

  • booyeah finno-ugric brotherhood!

  • miks mun pitää aina pleastaa sun per...

    :''''')

  • It was a really good idea! Thank you! :)

  • To me, Finnish sounds like a mix of Japanese and Spanish :) Very pleasant indees!

  • @PaineRikkuYuna The pronounciation of Finnish and Japanese is almost the same. Therefore there are many same words in those languages such as 'kutsu' which means shoe in Japanese and invitation in Finnish. Spanish and Finnish then again have similar rolling R-sound. :D But aren't Hungary and Finnish relative languages? We had a Hungarian exchange student here in Finland and she learned Finnish so fast!

  • @LuwBren Really? Wow, cool!

  • This was good! Greetings from Suomi (Finland), much love to Magyarok & Eesti & all the other Finno-Ugric people!

  • ''Jestas, miks mun aina täytyy pelastaa sun per.. AAAA!!!''

XD Mikähän sana siellä meinasi lipsahtaa :D

  • Soy española y no entiendo nada D:

    (I'm spanish and I don't undersand D:)

PD: Finnish is complicated but beauty

  • Much love to Finnish and Estionian people from Hungary!

  • is Scar called Zordon?:O

    look at 2.30..

  • @kriszti 92: the relationship doesn't mean that the two nation have the same words. if you stuied some linguistic could you understand that.

I find it cool that Finns have the same language family. I love Finland and the Finnish language <3

btw. this video is brilliant...i'm just leaning Finnsih, so it's funny =)

  • I don't get why they haven't dubbed Disney movies to Estonian. The language is beautiful (if you ask me), and I bet that Scar's "Be pepared" would've sound really cool if it was sung in Estonian.

    Long live Estonia!

Btw, I really enjoyed watching this movie.

Finnish and Hungarian is two of my favorite languages. 5/5!!!

  • @OlenAinaSinun They have dubbed Princess and the frog in estonian.. check out those songs!

  • @ennaahhagain They have? Great! Yes, I will! ^^

  • @kriszti92 Hei, ajattele vähän mitä puhut! (<-- Finnish language!) Those two languages are really different, I can hear it. But Finns (I'm a Finn) don't hate (well, maybe some of em hates) that!

  • Ha ha haa ! So funny ! :)

  • I'd like to study hungarian! Very beautiful language and it would be interesting since I'm finnish :) You know it's kind of fun to have "relatives" so far away.

  • Hey, me too here, only i am Hungarian but i want to study finnish.... would you love to mail me some time and we could teach each other ...beginning with simpel sentences, you use every day...what do you think? let me know....

  • @Arwen1986 I love Hungarian and I can teach you Finnish if you can teach Hungarian to me :)

  • @Arwen1986 That would be cool! What's your e-mail address?

  • @MyThanatos hey,did you learn any Hungarian since your post here?

  • hahaha pretty cute :p

  • "Se on 'polvistua' eikä 'palvistua'."

  • @pandda123 Kaksi sanaa: So what?

  • I would suggest you Enaah and Mojojul the "Little mermaid", the theme when they are on the lake...if you can mix songs too :) congrats!

  • hehehe, my Italian husband couldn't tell if the text was in Finnish or Hungarian :DDDDD The Finnish part sounds like the the accent of my county, with the open ääää

  • Jawohl, I think Timon's Finnish voice is better.

  • Hei mitä nyt? Se aikoo syödä mut XD This is so funny

  • Hungarian origins are Finnugor, but we have also occupied by Turkish for a 150 years long period in the last third of medival age. So we surely have decisive Turkish influent. But when I hear someone speaks Finnish, that reminds me when one of my good drunken fellow speak on our mother language..

  • I'm hungarian. I laught all time when Timon says: King? Ladí, you mix him up with another lion. :D

  • haha! no offence, but finnish doesnt sound hungarian at ALL! buuuut, probs for the vid tho ;)

  • jestas miks mun aina täytyy pelastaa sun per.... reps XD

  • ...se XD

  • Weird, but cute :) It would be even cuter if one of the lovers spoke Finnish and the other Hungarian. As a kind of statement, you know...

    Szia to our Hungarian cousins.

  • just love how he says ''Timon?''

  • Yep! I liked that video! I'm Hungarian, but i'm learning Finnish for almost 2 years. Thanks! :)

I like both version, but Timon's voice in Hungarian is the best! I almost know it by heart in Hungarian, so Disney cartoons are great to help me understand and learn Finnish...

  • I would say your Magyar actor for Timon did a great job, just different. Naturally I am used to the Finnish Timon who sounds more like a little meerkat. But yours is fine, too.

In Finnish and many others it somehow disturbed me even adult Simba sounds like a teen kid. I mean, he's a hulking ALPHA MALE LION.

Oh well. Cute story anyway. One of Disney's best.

  • yes simba is alpha male lion, but he's cute when he sounds like a teen! :D

  • I really love this! Hungarian and Finnish are both so cute langauges. :') ♥

    Thanks for uploading!

  • I guess I liked the Finnish dub more

  • I like the Finnish Simba better and the Hungarian Nala. But it's such a cool video!

I never saw a Estonian dub but I know there are Estonian subs on the Mulan DVD. I had to dub them =P

    Great Vid!

  • well, recent Pixar movies have been dubbed, but I'd prefer to hear the more classic Disney movies dubbed...

And I liked your Mulan video too...^^

  • Nice multilanguage! :D 5/5

  • I'm sorry, but there is no Estonian version, snif...

At least, the Estonian DVD has Estonian subtitles and also includes the Finnish version.

Nice voices, especially in Finnish, because I understand a bit...^^

    Finno-Ugrian languages rule!

  • I know, and it's a pity. I think that it would be so great if they'll decide to dub all those disney movies in estonian.

  • I with you on that!!

  • Yippie! Thanks for uploading it again!

    You're great :D

(Btw, Hungarian title is "Az Oroszlánkirály")
