To all ppeople regarding the ammo issue, the SEALs used the AK-47 because they want to blend in. They could also probably need the punch that the 5.56mm NATO round doesn't have. Anyways it's just a movie.

i believe that incident is indeed a nuclear program however the 2 koreas and usa denies it maybe because for diplomatic relations. It is a huge mushroom clowd so it is likely to be nuclear. Anyway during that period of time, tensions were high on north korea nuclear issues.
