  • yup i like this alot, that would be good fun to do!!

  • they are clearly intelligent creatures. its a shame the japanese would happily watch a dolphin show and admire their amazing form and intelligence, while simultaneously chowing down on dolphin meat and not see anything wrong with that. they have fundametally different attitudes.

  • @tubestick00 Well, a lot of us here in North America like watching rodeo and eat beef.

  • i love it when the guy holds the dolphin it is so sweet!:)

  • Omg this is one of my dreams!! I wanna do this so so so so bad!!!!! Thumbs up if agreed!

  • BEUTIFUL !!! SOO RELAXING FOOTAGE......

  • If your going to the effort of diving with them - why pick to do it in a non natural environment- surely it makes sense to see them in the wild?

  • @missemiliou I loved this dive and for me, that's what counts :)

  • @clintleung It does look amazing and i understand where your coming from, i'm not having a go...but you may of loved this dives, but as a human we need to stop being selfish and putting animals in conditions that are not right just for our own entertainment. So its now what counts as this is about them not us...most divers believe in the preservation of the reef and marine life...surely by being a diver and experience this amazing underworld you could also try...

  • @missemiliou We are told at the beginning of these dives that the dolphins can choose to interact with us or not - these are in open ocean, not in a confined area. It's totally the dolphins' choice if they want to interact with us or not.

  • @missemiliou I completely agree. Animals shouldn't be in confinement except to preserve them. I have a lot of problems with zoos and stuff for this reason.

  • THIS is how 'swim with the dolphins' should be - in the wild! No concrete tanks, dead fish for dinner, or captivity.

  • Wouldn't it be dangerous to have the motor on with dolphins swimming around the boat. I mean think about it, they could easily come into contact with the propeller, and at that speed it would be harmful.

  • @malbert34 Looks like they can easily outmanoveur any boat even at speed.

  • @malbert34

I spent a few years at sea with the U.S. Navy. Dolphins can definitely easily outmaneuver a boat that small. I used to watch them leap in front of our ship all the time. They made our 500 foot long destroyer look like a toy. Their ability to manuever is incredible.

  • That is great one day I will do this.

  • this lokks so cool i so want to do this one day just being able to dive next to dolphins just amazing

  • The greatest treasure is that which cannot be bought or sold.

  • Mankind is destroting their habitat. Humans we are the worst animal on the planet!

  • tell that to the big 1% rich guys who destroy our oceans...this is easily ona my biggest dreams <3

  • These do not look like wild dolphins. If they are, one should not touch them. We tend to carry a lot of bacteria and parasites to which wild dolphins may not be as immune as we are.

  • This is how I enjoy the dolphins, in the nature, free. The Perfect Adventure!

  • Dolphins always look so happy.

  • tasty little fellas!

  • there so cute

  • Did you give it a rusty trombone?

  • haha 1st date with dolphin(;

  • lucky you dan't get raped..

  • @JJRandom1 This works for small fish and corals but not for dolphins or bigger (sharks, whales...)

How about the ones in captivity then? They should be dead a million times no? I think that is more of a dolphins problem, their captivy or even worst, their slaughtery! Watch The Cove, a great documentary about that.

  • Doesnt he risk being attacked by the colphin?

  • @JJRandom1 ...They're in sea water... Sea water carries bacteria.. lol, c'mon now..

  • I had the opportunity to dive several times with the dolphins of UNEXSO way back in 1992 - that was when you could touch them, ride them and I was awarded the honor of carrying the food tube. It was a mind blowing experience. I moved back to FL recently after living in AZ and I can't wait to get back to Freeport and the most wonderful experience in the world.

  • Dolphins who have had contact with people will do this kind of thing, but those who haven't usually don't approach, but occasionally show curiosity in women divers and swimmers. Male dolphins are sometimes apparently attracted to human women.

  • @ericjungleboy i can already hear the pens of romance novelists scribbling away.

  • @ewa8600 I'm taking a course right now. It's costs $986 for a 4 day lesson and It costs $880 for just the mask, snorkel and fins. The 4 day lesson allows you to dive whenever and wherever you want with no instructor. FYI its around $1020 for the rest of the gear. Eg. BCD(Vest) and ect.

  • One time a dolphin came and halped me wit my maths. It said we are all just an illusion created from the depths of an eternal spiraling membrane and then it dived by zero and my atoms became blatoms.

  • @JJRandom1 Yes I agree mate you're absolutely right. Bacteria could not be a problem if their body system was strong as ours, but it isn't. So touching dolphins is dangerous for them. If you really love them don't touch them. It's difficult to remember this in the moment that you see a dolphin, but put it somewhere in your mind ;)

  • @dmetaxi i googled this... No where on google does it say that it is dangerous to touch a dolphin because of bacteria. Infact the Ocean has trillions of types of bacteria. It is infact not dangerous to touch a dolphin in any way.. Do not throw false facts out there, nieve individuals will remember this then go try and educate someone else on it, and no one will know the true facts. Please read up next time.

  • @shelzz87

Was just about to google it too, think I still will just to make sure but thanks anyway for clearing that up. It would be a shame to cause such a beautiful creature to get sick... especially since I badly want to swim with them and touch them! :)

  • They are so soft you cannot wear gloves like when you dive with the sharks.

  • @JJRandom1 You can - contact them at UNEXSO dive center in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island. Also the various dolphin centers in Florida that hold dolphin swim/touch programs.

  • @clintleung Interesting. Since this was the wikld, did they give u any safety tipos on swimming with dolphins, to ensure you're safe/ And why don't they allow cage diving with dolphins?

  • @beautifulstar33 Yes. No cage required.

  • @clintleung No, I mean, can you have a cage, if you want, like they do when diving with great whites?

  • @beautifulstar33 I would suggest for more info on this dive, go to the website listed at the end of the video as there's a detailed article you can find there.

  • @clintleung gotcha, one last thing? these were WILD dolphins, right?

  • @beautifulstar33 Come on -- those scuba articles are there for a reason

  • @clintleung Ok, I'm just nervous about this. I want to swim with dolphins, but I'm a bit nervous. dont take it persoanlly, ok?

  • @beautifulstar33 That's okay but read the articles. All your questions are answered there. I didn't spend hours writing them for nothing :)

  • @clintleung yes i am reading them now. so interesting. i hope to do this. i want to enjoy it like u did, diving with flipper

  • @JJRandom1 Tell that to their trainers :)

  • That has got the be the coolest thing!! I could say a ton of awesome things about dolphins, but everyone already knows. Thank you for sharing this!

  • awesome! wow..... i love it!!

  • I need to learn to scuba dive.

  • @a121509 It's easy. You just have to get over the fear of going underwater and breathing through a tube. I love it.

  • Who wouldn't like Dolphins they protect Humans and other animals from danger

  • thank you for uploading this video. My 2 and a half year old daughter loves dolphins and was very excited to see real suba divers swimming along with them. you just made a baby's day!

  • how did they approach you? are they wild dolphins?

  • @eftipef1 See the article listed at the website mentioned at the end for all the details.

  • @clintleung can you do this with orcas too? Swim with them?

  • @beautifulstar33 Haven't heard of any programs with orcas.

  • Nice Video

  • how deep is it please ?

  • @Hunting4TheLight About 40 feet

  • amazing. there so beautiful. People who get the change,s to swim and play whit dolphins, shut realise how lucky they are to be whit them. We can learn so much from them.

  • yes fightsharkfishing24 but there are good scuba accident sites on the web too. try the myscubastory site. They have all sorts of dive stories and accident videos there. type myscubasory into google and its the first one. enjoy

  • Dolphins are my underwater cats @_@

I love cats on land and dolphins underwater

    Sogoiiiii

  • those dolphins are probably trained, coz in the wild, they would only come about three metres close the the people, and WOULD NOT let the people touch them

  • @goldfish424242 they are definitely trained, but curious wild dolphins will sometimes let you touch them. They will not let you do anything other than that, certainly not spin you and kiss you lol.

  • 30 people dont like dolphins

  • @musicpencilz lol

  • it looks like a very natural interaction, for sure!! (ironic).

  • I love dolphins!

  • I loved swimming with dolphins and I can't wait to do it again

  • nice. 0:21 .

  • That's a lovely air hose you have there...

  • i love his reaction after he kisses the dolphin!

  • that was amazing!

  • my dream is to dive and play with them I feel I am part of dolphin//

  • if ur pegnat the females start beating u up

  • @girbunnie Female humans? thats dumb and a lie lol. If you have heard this from someone they are messing with you. Dolphins dont attack humans, and they are especially gentle around pregnant women.

  • @girbunnie no they dont LOL that is sooo retarded

  • Absolutely amazing, such amazing animals. They look so fun to interact with!

  • How innocent!

  • If Only Dolphins would come up to people doing theyre Open Water Course (Im junior open water cause I was 11).

  • @JohnAlthani me too

  • @blueking4ever10 Um...no they do not have a little brain. Their brain is around the same size as our own...more advanced in many ways! They're known for their big brains and high intelligence lol

  • They are probably so happy to have some land mammal relatives to play with underwater.

  • Are these Wild Dolphins? or are they like in a sea pen?

  • dolphines are really cool !

just wondering why they are so friendly to humans ?

  • @elasolezito Because, I suspect, they are amused by us. They are extremely intelligent, probably as much so as us, more so in some ways. Remember, they can see right through your skin to your skeleton with their sonar, and they can see the similarities in our skeletons, see that we are mammals- that we are alike. I think that they recognize us as counterparts, and decide to play with us. Life is about fun, for them- they have a whole ocean to explore and they know how to make the most of it.

  • A wild Dolphin has appeared!

  • Not one comment on how he just made out w/ a dolphin.!

  • they are SO lucky to do that !

  • much love for the Dolphins!

  • Please only dive with dolphins in the wild. This magnificent creature was meant to be wild and free.

  • @gearbow We should really start eating dolphins. Dolphins are dumb, ego-testicle fish that do not know how to swim properly. Good day, sir.

  • I just recently started scuba diving in SoCal. Can't say I've done anything close to this, but it is yet another reason scuba is amazing! Gives me something to look forward to!

  • This looks like a lot of fun!

  • this is so beautiful so amazing! :) love it

  • Haha that was the cutest, longest kiss ever.

  • you guys are really brave, im scared of the ocean i only swimm in pools

  • @nacyg10

    That movie is soo sad!

I've gotten 9 of my friends to watch it.

I no longer visit Seaworld or anything like that.

  • @GabyLovesGlitter yea it breaks your heart watching it. I hope that stops soon. It's so cruel.

  • it almost freaks me out how smart they are..its beyond what we think we know..

  • IM SOOO JEALOUS!!! MAN!!

  • These are wild dolphins?

  • Man these are seriously the most magnificent amazing animals ever. Whyy are they so friendly it blows my mind.

  • Dolphins pretty much win out of all the animals. Yeah, that's how much they rule.

  • very nice

  • Hi im Tyler a performer at sea world orlando, marine biologist and dolphin specialist, got any questions? please ask feel free send me a message or leave a comment on my channel (my boss actually asked if i could educate people on youtube for +4$ an hour so why not right) so please ask away :)

  • ill bet this guy has boned one of them.

  • I did this dive. It was fantastic! It was only $160 per person.

  • Looks like it is laughing cunningly at the end...

  • thats sooooo cool =)

  • It's amazing. I really believe that they know we are so interested in them - and being as intelligent as they are, they're appreciative of our curiosity and perhaps they are even interested in learning about us!

  • awe there cute

  • I don't see any harm in this. I think they are smart enough creatures to know the difference between freindly animals and killer predators. The only thing I see possibly dangerous about getting close to them is that there are other humans that want to cut them up into little bits and have them for dinner. I think those kind of people though usually luer them in with food as they would with fish. If you feed them they start to think people=food supply. Just don't feed them and they should be ok.

  • @TheSnowyice Actually the people who want to eat them luer them in by banging on poles that are halfway submerged in water. It makes a sort of calling for them since they communicate by sound. Watch the movie "The Cove" or if you want watch just a clip from the movie here on youtube. The title is "Dolphin slaugter in Japan. DISTURBING VIDEO." Surprisingly this happens every year. It is very sad.

  • Dude u know u were kissing a dolphin starting from 0:57 until 1:09 right? Please tell me shes a female dolphin! Its cute

  • you are the luckiest man alive

  • im going to swim with dolphins~~!!!...gonna get my scuba diving license next week..^^

  • Not sure how some idiots can kill these creatures,

  • Touching dolphins - that's not good for them, not safe, only very selfish humans do that

  • @ahimsakk why?tell me...why?

  • @wankerwoofer Yeah.. Idealy holding your breath for a short time would be good to save the amount of air you use.

  • my dream is swimming with dolphins under the wather! where exactly it was and how much i have to pay for it?

  • @ewa8600 The article at the website listed at the end of the video has all the details you are looking for.

  • @ewa8600 to swim with dolphins under the weather you must first find some a dolphin that isn't feeling too well. try the seas around japan during culling season.

  • @mrnoodleisdead HAHAHAHAH

  • where exactly it was? my dream is swimmwith dolphins under the wather! everyone can do it ? howmuch it cost ? ;-)

  • man i have to go there would love to scuba with dolphins

  • There awesome, but never deserved to b locked up. Release them!!! Oo

  • For my senior project I want to learn how to scuba diving so I can be a marine biologist: )

  • Awsome !!!! Thanks for the vid mate.

  • Awe I've always wanted to go scuba diving, hopefully one day when I'm older I will.

  • setting here watching the video make me want my trip to get here so I can go and swim with the dolphins. Going to the keys.

  • This what I want to do when I grow up!!:)

  • Ommmggg that's my dream:] this is where dolphins should be, not in small concrete tanks with screaming people or being slaughtered. Over 20,000 dolphins are slaughtered each year, instead we should see them in their own domain: free: )

  • you can hold your breath ... just dont swim to the surface ... idiot

  • @wankerwoofer Another friendly person online

  • @clintleung isn't swimming with dolphins dangerous? Can't they attack humans?

  • @3333sweetie They didn't bite me :)

  • @3333sweetie I see. Each of the times that ou swam with them, did they become curious and come to you?

  • @3333sweetie Nothing different from what you saw in the video. They followed the instructions of the trainer/divemaster who was overseeing everything.

  • @3333sweetie They are not only extremely intelligent (more so than many people, and that's not an exaggeration- their brain is comparable in size to ours), but they are far more gentle than humans are. We are more prone to violence than they are, and have more primitive areas of the brain concerning aggressive responses. If anything, it's them who should worry about us, not the other way around. We kill things simply to kill them. They do not. Sigh...I love dolphins and hope to swim with them!

  • @wankerwoofer why cant you hold your breath and swim to the surface? i dont know very much about scuba and would love to learn

  • @bjarvis55 the air in your lungs will expand.

  • @bjarvis55 From what I know... because u are still breathing air under water through the scuba gear and because of the lung capacity is larger underwater because of Bloodshift( blood goes from your arms and legs into your chest increasing the amount of blood in your lungs capillaries) and the fact that when u go towards the surface the air expands and blood shift diminishes. if u want any more information Just inbox me or somthing.

  • 0:58 made my heart melt :') so sweet :'P

  • thats beautiful

  • i want to kiss one too :))

  • somebody sheets? :D cute =)

  • the video is incredible! I am so amazed that you could get so close to them, interact with them... I have never been lucky enough to see one underwater, but I would love to one day as well!! Enjoy your diving!

  • I love dolphins i wanna go scuba diving with dolphins some day!

  • Leave them alone HOW RUDE if the dolphin dident like the humans at wouldent go near them so clearly the dolphins like the humans!

  • leave them alone!

  • Man don't scuba dive... Free dive with them!! You can do that

  • That guy kissing the dolphin broke the biggest rule in scuba diving NEVER HOLD YOUR BREATH! Idiot

  • @somepinkmartini Glad some folks here are so friendly ...

  • @somepinkmartini I chose to approve your comment so that the rest of the world can see just how friendly you are.

  • @somepinkmartini Holding your breath is fine as long as you don't change your depth.

  • @somepinkmartini -Why don't you go TROLL somewhere else. It is the biggest rule, but as long as its not an excessive hold and your depth doesn't change, you'll be fine. Most speargun hunters and underwater photographers hold their breath at some point during a dive. Im not saying its ok to do it, just that every now and then, and with the right circumstances, it more than likely wont hurt you.

  • @somepinkmartini In fact it's "never hold your breath while ascending", but since it's hard to tell when you're going up or down, it has been shortened to "never hold your breath" out of safety. In this video, the guy is staying at the exact same depth (knees on the ground), so he's pretty much safe...

  • @somepinkmartini It's not the biggest rule in Scuba Diving, and the fact that you overreacted to it only shows that you are at most a student Scuba diver.

  • @nocalsteve Also it's his unfriendly tone that was used.

  • @somepinkmartini If your gonna insult people on how they shouldn't hold their breath underwater forget what you read in the PADI beginners guide to diving. Help yourself to a f*cking science book and look up Boyle's Law.

  • Dolphins are amazing.. I swam with them when I was at the Caribbean.. It was amazing, infact more than that.. I will never forget it :)

  • Aw I love dolphins :D

  • OMG THATS LIKE MY LIFELONG DREAM!

  • Trained or not, dolphins are friendly to man. They are capable of easily biting your arm or head off, but they chose not to.

  • You should NEVER touch wild cetaceans. This is not for immediate safety concerns. There is a serious risk to viral and bacterial pathogen (disease) transmission that could be bad for either the diver and/or the dolphin.

Whilst you may be respectful to the dolphins, conditioning this level of interaction into such a vulnerable and distinct species from our own is irresponsible.

  • Those who wish to pet and baby wild animals "love" them. But those who respect their natures and wish to let them live normal life love them more. ~E.W.T.

Dolphins swim miles and miles a day, they are pod animals, and having them in captivity only hurts them, encourages dolphing trading, and slaughtering like in japan...

by the way they are not smiling at the camera

"A dolphin's smile is the greatest deception. It creates the illusion that they're always happy" ~ric o'barry

  • are these wild dolphins?

  • @davydawgdawg The article about this dive at the website posted on the video has the answers.

  • It's a childhood dream of mine to swim with dolphins. I hope I will someday.

  • I'd love to have an experience like that with dolphins.

  • cool but is long to go and not so much monny $ o.o

  • wow, they just let you pet them?

  • @Prov1210 More details about this dive is in an article at the website listed at the end of the video.
