I remember when he stage diveed in Melbourne at 15 or was it 16 ? & the crowd didnt' catch him, guess they werent expecting it & he didnt give any warning, he was unconsious and they ripped off his clothes ! I can hear "what a fall, I cant move" I wonder if partly refering to that even ? i.e. couldnt care less if I died right now who am I etc" hmm obviously prob also refering to the fame (i.e. now everybody wanted to know me all of a sudden etc) but the above makes me wonder.
and led zepplin, pink floyed, helmet, radio bird man, ministry, offspring and TOOL etc You'll see offspring, helmet and TOOL tshirts on him and early interviews will show the other bands.
dude, their first album frogstomp sounds like pearl jam, alice in chains etc.. ok, but the second album freakshow have some nu metal guitar riff, sorry but no association isn't a grunge riff, but more like deftones, like the heavy riff of slave at the end of the track.
I agree with aeecaralho, I think this is their best also. The Palace is a great venue. Blind Melon played there a few years before, it was one of their last shows before Shannon died and they made it into a live album. This place is great a musical atmosphere, definitely one of if not Silverchair's best performances of the era.
Its Dedicated to DICKHEADS

Not even close my friend, they aren't grunge, they were never nu metal. It's called Aus-Rock- they invented it.
