@xoxauntcarole It was on the 2009 Clarity vinyl re-release. It's also available on their compilation album Singles. That one's definitely worth picking up. Awesome.
I agree that SP and Clarity are amazing, but I don't agree that there's no work after those that can be considered great. BA doesn't rank high for me (excluding 'If You Don't, Don't and 3 or 4 others) but Futures is without a doubt filled with too much talent and raw power, not to mention emotion, to write it off. And have you even heard Dizzy? Lol But ya, song is definitely one of my favorites :)
JEW is getting better and better with every album. Why do you guys want more of the same? And when did becoming more mainstream become synonymous with becoming bad? Don't just hate the new albums because they are new, actually come up with a valid reason as opposed to "They're popular now they suck.''
Actually Static Prevails and Clarity are much better than any of their later efforts. But it's just opinion, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But I think everything they've done post Bleed American has been garbage.
@chrispy336 Definitely wouldn't say that they're getting better and better...Chase This Light was, without question, their worst album (which says something about how great this band is, because it's still a pretty good album). Invented was as respectable a release as they come, but I don't think it ranks as a classic in their discography. Futures and Clarity are perfect in every sense, and Bleed American was amazing as well. Such a great band, and some of the best, nicest guys in all of music.
Not true, this is their second best record, their best being Static Prevails. Futures comes third in my book, but the three you listed are all pop punk, seen-it-before rock, completely unlike Clarity and Static Prevails because it's so different and interesting. You have to have an open mind, and venture out from your musical convention.
And Chase this Light is my least favorite, the least amount of experimentation and nothing new, something Jimmy has always provided.
It's very aggressive. I like it. I used to only like bleed american and futures (before chase this light came out) and I thought clarity and static prevails were weird and sucked. Over time I grew an appreciation for them. Check out "Seventeen", "Blister", and "Lucky Denver Mint" if you want to listen to some songs from their 2nd and 3rd albums that you'd probably like.
Nice song, pity about the abysmal quality.

I think it's the way he sings is what I like best though, this just sounds so much different from what I'm used to.

dude... you must have no concept or real emo music...
jimmy eat world are in fact getting worse and worse with each album..
their first releases were much faster and angsty than even this..
Static Prevails and "Clarity are so so so good..
check out the split ep with Jebediah.. it's hard to find but a true JEW classic...
