definatly was not hunting, leopards are not very fast and do not have the endurance as most of it prey, so they like to creep up very very close to their prey, somtimes only a few feet away, if it was trying to hunt, it most definatly would have tried much harder to stay hidden.

The leopard didn't hunt. It made itself visible, and approached the cheetach from the front. It's like it said "sir, you are trespassing, now leave".
