Hey toothsoup i was there in the pit, right next to the guy for most of the night- he was a *total* dick, practically winding a young girl against the railings & just being an absolute wanker. well i wasnt really there so i really shouldnt comment however i no a few ppl male and females who work for several security companies and there are alot out there.they are really only are to intervene when its dangerous to the other public,ie throen objects etc. from wot i could see not much happened. so i'd say in this case they were trying to make their presence felt not so subtly.
Yep - total dick, security were after him cos he'd just thrown a bottle at the stage...
On a brighter note - it was nice to be present at Mick Harvey's last every performance as a bad seed!

Heh, according to my mates in the pit the guy Mr. Cave was standing up for was actually a real dick, but the principle of the thing still stands! (:
