  • love pcetera very MUCH!

  • Chicago isn't the same without PC, but it sounds alot by Glory of Love in terms of chord progression. I've always been a fan, but you ripped this on off from the band that made you.

  • Very poignant song from my youth. Listened to this song hundreds of times.

  • Such a beautiful song with Peter's voice and the orchestra. Amazing...

  • if you don't tell me the errors, i won't notice them.

  • I think that pointing out his lyric mistake did more damage to this video then necessary. He co-wrote the song. He can sing it anyways he wants.

  • This isn't Peter's best, but there's a reason why I love everything he sings. He's simply amazing...

  • @whodoipp same here, then and now to me he's still one of the best artists around with that powerful voice, and his songs... they really stir powerful emotions ^__^

  • dont worry about the words Peter... we have all done it... still my favourite Chicago song..means so much to me...

  • hearing this song again made me travel back in time during the 80's when Chicago was very popular. I love all their songs and Peter Cetera oh boy I'll always recognize that voice very distinct....one of a kind.

    thanks for the upload:)))

  • 6 people who clearly have thier volume button on MUTE!!! -

Such a great song.....floating, soaring you travel to places in your mind that are simply sublime.....this why music is sooooo good.....memories are a bonus.

  • I imagine it can be hard to remember exact lyrics from 40 yrs of songs, especially ones that aren't performed frequently.

  • This song is absolutely one soulful song, well-written and greatly well-performed! I'm your Avid Fan Mr Peter Cetera! I watched the David Foster and Friends Concert at the Araneta Coliseum, Manila on October 23, 2010. I was moved when you sang the sung If You Leave Me Now. When you come back, please sing this song! Hugs and best regards!

  • One of the most wonderful songs that Chicago ever have done!

  • You asshole. Why do you feel it necessary to ruin such a beautiful song by correcting a single sentence, then pasting a caption overlay. Do you think you are better than Peter himself? I would like to see your fat ass singing any song better than he.

Just what kind of asshole are you...you are one full of shit.

  • What a great song, it's a shame that the one that writes it, doesn't know the lyrics. I miss this song, just greatful to hear it again.

  • really, I did not know these songs!so I must hear these, and orchestra of course makes it!thanks!

  • wow this sounds great! i might be a bit of a metal head but this reminds me a girl i was dating 22 years ago. it was great! then i went into the army and she found someone eles. i guess nothing last forever.

  • Just beautiful........This sounds more like a Peter Cetera solo career song, rather than a Chicago song......The timing doesn't matter, it's a wonderful song, sung beautifully by Peter.........I don't think anyone else could sing this as well as Peter....Bravo, Peter! (loud applause and standing ovation...:):)...)

  • This is my favorite song on the album. Wish they (Chicago) would get back together with Peter Cetera.

  • 側面有點像柯林頓...

  • 我更好比克林顿认为彼得神色 (I think Peter looks better than Clinton)

  • Listen with earphones to this song on Chicago 17. Awesome. Sublime. So pure and clean. Is this how God's voice might sound?

  • Only you,Remember the feeling, We can stop the hurtin. All songs from Chicago 17 got very little, if any air time back in the day. This song makes me cry,the original version. This one just makes me smile

  • This is such an amazing song...

  • HE IS GREAT.

  • Splendid..... Love you Peter ...your voice is so amazing

  • I just saw Peter's concert in Knoxville two weeks ago and he still is awesome. His voice was smooth and he didn't pull the mike away as you say he did. He just gets better with age.

  • Did he perform Remember The Feeling ?

Did he play bass as well ?

  • what a wonderful song. can't stop listening!

  • This is my favorite song from Chicago 17, and I never thought I would hear it any other way then from the album.. wow.. talk about a flashback! This takes me back to my early early teens!

  • i love those songs also.

as far as Peter, he is an excellent voice. aside from the ballads, how he sang with Chicago pre-1978 was amazing - pure rock with his usual great melodic voice.

  • This is a great, underrated song. I saw Chicago on the 17 tour, and they did the whole album except this one and Once in a Lifetime, which are two of the best tunes on the album.

  • Agree with you in both songs, specially in Once In A Life Time which is one of the greatest to me...Best Regards!!!!!!!!

  • @markmusic68 I love this song too. I wish I'd seen that tour!

  • u r the best!! I love Peter <3

  • ....favorite from the 17 album!!

  • Wow! I remember being in love to that song 20 years ago, or so. Wish I could feel that way, but now I just remember the feeling... Peter is one of the greatest!

  • he is one of the best singer ever...

  • he is the best

  • Well he butchers the whole last chorus, which should start "She was alive, I was caught by the fire". Then he gets mixed up and says "When I awoke and she told me she was gone". Ha ha um, I'd wonder how that would work! But that being said I absolutely love this song and this arrangement. And Peter's voice does just get better and better with age. Dennis DeYoung is the same way. If you've heard him recently, his more mature voice is just beautiful. These guys truly are an inspiration.

  • I notice that he forgets the lyrics a lot. He is still a great singer! I have always loved this song and I also wish it had been a bigger hit.

  • You're right about the lyrics. It should have been a big hit but it was actually the B side of Hard habit to break!

  • I like jason scheff better

  • Lol, what's wrong with you aan1?

  • I don't know why this song wasn't a bigger hit in the '80s. It was one of my favorites then and it is again since I rediscovered it recently. What a CLASSIC!!!! And Peter, you will always be the voice of Chicago to me. That voice still gives me (good) chills whenever I hear it.

  • I love this song. It brings back so much emotion that I didn't even know that I had. One of my favoite songs.

  • essa musica me da uma saudade da vida.mas nao dessa vida de uma vida que eu nao vivi.momentos de infancia que eu nao consigo me lembrar.

  • Peter is in his 60's? I mean, my gosh, for being that age, he still sounds great. Amazing how so many rock 'n roll stars, like him, have kept that high octave voice. I do wish he would not chop some of the words off the way he does, didn't do that on the Chicago 17 album version. Breaks up the smoothness of the song. He indicated in an interview his reason for quitting the group was the horrendous tour schedule they kept. He didn't like to be on the road touring that much.

  • Peter is still singing surprisingly well I think too by the way . . . others his age I think probably need to hang it up tho. They're tired, not Peter.

  • Yes, what kmuggee said!! lol What a man...ahhhhhh

  • I adore Peter's classy style and amazing vocals. The passion and emotion that resonates through in his beautiful voice is SUBLIME defined; Peter ROCKS!!!

  • he still sounds mighty fine to me. his voice has only gotten better with age. still smoooooth

  • well i like his mature voice and look better all the taste are in the nature i guess

  • Why is nobody else commenting on the fact that only ONE person has mentioned before:

"And he moves the mic far away from his mouth on the highest notes!! Why?????"

Obviously Mr. Cetera is getting old. And that's OK. Sadly to say he does not sound that good anymore. Thankfully we'll always have the studiorecordings!

  • This wasn't a billboard hit, but its always been one of my favorite Chicago songs. Good post.

  • If you have a vinyl copy of Chicago hits 82-89 this song is on the vinyl version where Along Comes A Woman should be and is listed to be in. Must have been a mistake in pressing. Good one though, Along comes a woman was crap compared to this song!

  • very good singing

  • peter isnt the same without chicago playing for him. they should work together again and make thousands great albs like in the past.

  • I really like this song, its nice to see a live performance of this song.

  • In my opinion, one of their best ballads. However, I don't really care for all the modulations that are happening in this version. Nontheless, cool stuff though

  • No concibo a Peter sin Chicago... ni a Chicago sin Peter

  • could you please post there recorded version to that song

  • Don't Understand what you mean?

  • @cetera06 I think this person means to ask if you have a version as it was recorded on Chicago 17, rather than this live version of just Peter and an orchestra in later years.

  • @imjax yep, that is, but I think that the original song can be easily found on the internet, this is a piece of art!...but thanks my friend for the advice..and thanks for contribute to the comments!

  • It's wonderful to be able to see this! Thank you so very much for sharing. I just ADORE Peter Cetera!!

  • Completa y absolutamente enamorada...

  • i agree; the recorded version is 100% better.

  • 17 was such a great all around album.

  • I first heard this song sung as a duet during a high school assembly over 20 years ago. When I found out it was a Chicago song and then currently on the radio, I repeatedly changed stations just to see if I could catch it. Now, if only someone could post PC's A Song For You

  • what a great song ! My parents are big Chicago fans, and i grew up listening to them. Has to be one of my favorites

  • His mic style is better appreciated live, wish I could sing like that...

  • Peter es lo mejor y con esta cancion es aun mas exitoso e inolvidable.. :)!

  • One of the all time greatest songs

The recorded version much better though

  • i agree, the recorded version is much better

  • It's not on their 2cd comp album sadly

  • with peter cetera they were popular, how many times is chicago mentioned these days, its like credence clear water revival without john fogerty, doesnt work,

  • I guess Chicago won't invite Peter for one more show because there would not be enough tickets. Too many neede

  • he is the best

  • Strange vocal style on this guy I always thought.

And he moves the mic far away from his mouth on the highest notes!! Why?????

Anyway...that Chicago-clip with Bobby Kimball here on YouTube Kicks ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is my favorite Chicago song!!!!!

  • I also have this DVD, and this is probably my favourite song from Chicago 17 ^^

  • Oh man. Just discovered this song by Peter Cetera last week and I play it at least once every evening. I LOVE his voice and the way he talks, he so gorgeous oh my god. Lovely range and depth to his voice

  • A GREAT VOICE OF ALL TIME!!

  • peter really gave chicago a unique sound that they never recaptured after he left. they weren't as good without him.this always was my favorite song on 17.

  • Have been a Chicago fanatic from day 1. The day Cetera left the group was the day they should have packed up the horns. Jason Scheff can't carry Cetera's jock strap...not to mention a key! The brass is still as strong as ever...but the vocals leave something to be desired as Champlain's chords are history.

  • but PC is the one who went really sappy on the original CTA sound

  • I agree

  • Yes he does! I saw him perform in 1995 and he totally had the audience in thrall!

  • I love the way he speaks. He has such a charming voice and those eyes. Lets leave it there yeah.

  • I LOVE this song and the MAN too!

  • This is one of my favorites. :)

  • I don't like Chicago, but this is a pretty song

  • Nostalgic if anything. Chicago is lost without Peter.

  • OMG, I love this DVD. Thank u so much for sharing it.

  • The BEST! I Love this man!!!

  • i love this song and i love peter since chicago

    his the best

  • cetera06 your vids are awesome... but what's with those windoze & msn sounds? :P

  • I love this song, thanks.

  • Peter Cetera is THE VOICE
