Hi! The pen and paper I use will differ on what purpose for which the drawing is being created. For most of the drawing videos, I will use a Sharpie marker and plain copier/typewriter paper.

I'm not really good at explaining how I draw, so the best I can offer as tips is to keep in mind such things as anatomy, light and shadows, and textures.

For a drawing this size, I usually don't go through more than one pen, but I do sometimes switch between a fine point and a thicker pen to fill in larger black areas. Thanks!

very nice its crazy that u do this one shot with a pen so theres no going back if u mess up. i wonder if u could give me some tips about inking and drawing details on a character or maybe make a video explaning where u need to put detail and where there needs to be shading cause i think sometimes i put too much shading and detail all at the same time and it comes out not like i want . let me know what i can do to fix that and understand how to ink a character properly. thanks

I do have many heroes of my own. As for getting a comic job with Marvel or DC, you obviously know very little about how that works. Marvel and DC are NOT interested in seeing how you draw your own characters. They want to know that you can draw THEIR characters. In fact, they don't even want to see other people's original characters to avoid any messy lawsuits if someone claims their idea was stolen by the publishers.
