@Simeon508 no it doesn't get in the RR. The RR is good for about 3 or 4 feet of water I think it is? But I know it doesn't get inside unless it's very high. Just not sure how high it is exactly.

I'm dissapointed with about 80% of people who buy Land Rovers. They were built origionally to be a high quality truck epic off road, and pretty good once you crawl into the city. Thanks to hollywood, they've turned into a High quality SUV as an epic status symbol, and pretty good when someone drives you offroad. I miss old Land Rover, the one known as "THE BEST 4X4X FAR." Still, great machine, beautifull to.

great shots of range rovers but ive never done any off roading whatsoever and i know i could do a lot better than these richies out for a weekend. land rover is very innovative and is the first name in off roading and i love range rovers but some of those fancy gizmos theyve made take away from the pleasure of driving this car the way it was meant to be driven and are more for posers than real off road enthusiasts.

During my 68213 miles of driving it, I've visited the dealer 29 times for minor/major issues. Major ones as follows: 1. Clunky engine noise @ 34k 2. Engine shuts down repeatedly @41k 3. Tranny oil leaks @43k 4. Imbalance air suspension @ 57k 5. Bent rims @58k 6. Tranny replaced @61k 7. Rain leaks into cabin @64k 8. Gasket oil leak @68k Sold it a week after repairs.

@wilsontt88 some expensive cars do brake down yes. but factory faults or bad put together model (like they say monday morning car) can always happen and your rover was clearly one of them. should have asked for a new one? honda is good no doubt. toyota was to but that is the problem mercedes had to. wanting to make more money sow cut corners.

Some things never changed: Subaru, Honda, and Toyota (sigh...). Ford cars has been more reliable to date though.

I had an '08 Honda Pilot which never lets me down (replacing that darned Range Rover). So far for reliability, it only requires oil & filters changes to date, and it's resale value is way better than my previous Range Rover. You can never go wrong with a Honda. More expensive vehicles aren't exactly more reliable. My bloody Range Rover proves it

I don't like the new aggressive styling that they've done with the front bumper and grille (and the ventilation gills on the supercharged model), but the LED headlamps really make this car look stunning as opposed to just ruining it (like on the Audi Q5), and what they've done with the interior (notably the dash and navigation) while being able to keep it's stately, classical look and feel is just short of spectacular. If I had the money, this would without a doubt be sitting in my driveway.

Beautiful vehicles, also a lot more reliable than most imagine, although it wouldn't be my choice to drive around the world in. If I can afford a 100k car, I doubt I would treat it like garbage, which I didn't. I always had it maintained by land rover. But at 15k miles, I started having tons of electrical problems, oil leaks, It left me stranded 3 times! The interior is supurb and high quality, but mahcanically garbage! Land Rovers are known to be un-reliable, I know have a 2009 Lexus LX570 which is by far more reliable!

Land Rover have the luxury but they are a mechanical nighmare!! i had a New TDV8 Range Rover Sport and had it 8 months of its 8 Months life span it was in the Dealers for 6 weeks, it had a new ECU and anti- roll bar bushes fitted twice then the suspension screwed up, i got rid of it and bought.... wait for it... a BMW X6 which is faster and far far far more reliable! saying that though there is something about Range Rovers that we all love!

That's true, we have a '95 Range Rover,

and it's almost as good as new.

Before the RR we had an opel vectra, which is a normal roadcar. The first day we had the RR, I was amazed! All the buttons have a luxureous push, everything is quality. And when it's in the mud, you can feel it's in the right place, his home. It goes true the mud liek a knife true butter, amazing. That thing really comes to life in off road terrains.
