  • AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED THAT THE GLUE LOOKS LIKE A HOT CHICK?

  • @luscii They look like Mac lashes.

  • Thank you so much best eyelash video thus far!! I'm gonna practice, practice, practice lol;)

  • i love your videos. Your amazing!!!

  • Great video series!! Thanks great tips!

  • Koren try putting lash glue on the back of your hand then take a eyeliner brush then line your top lashes with glue then place your lashes on it always works for me they go on greatand the glue becomes tacky quicker

  • Great Video! What eyeliner are you using? It looks more like a felt pen than the traditional brush...it's exactly what I need :)

  • U still did a great application on the other non prepped eye as well

  • I work for Sephora and even though we offer faux lash application lessons, I ALWAYS tell my clients to watch your two lash videos because it's just the best lesson EVER! Thanks Koren

  •  great tips thx

  • your videos are great! love you!

  • Great technique with applying the liner underneath. THANKS!!!

  • Koren, you can't imagine how happy I am wearing my first faux lashes right now.

It took me one hour to apply them, but I finally did it!!!!!

Yay Yay Yay Yay I am sooo happy I overcame the fear of applying false lashes.

    Thanks<3

  • thank you, now I only have to try it out on myself. only applied falsies on my cousin :) oh btw, love how you pronounce everyone. THANK YOU!!

  • Very helpful thank u

  • EnKore!! I have a question, what's the name of that song that plays at the beginning of your tutorial??! Thank u sweetie :)

  • question what was the name of the liner that you used?

  • the lining of the band and the eye is super helpful :)! thanks koren!

  • Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I really needed this tip..can't wait to use it!!

  • you are so good..today i applied false lashes for the first time it was hard....i got glue all over the lashes.LOL!!! but thanks to you next time ill know how to properly place them on my eye!!!

  • Perfect....really great great tips! thank you so much!

  • This tut is great. I never thought to apply liquid liner to the lash band before, it really does make HUGE difference.

  • hi i really like the look of your eyeliner. Where did you get it?

  • Thank you soooo much for your advices! You're a genius!

    kiss

  • Wow...great information and easy to understand...thanks!

  • totally kewl! when i saw tat i was like wow! awesome idea!

  • thanks for this tutorial... every single details is CLEAR... : ) great techniques

  • This was an awesome video. I learned a new technique. Thanx a bunch.

  • U R excellent! I can tell u really LOVE what u r doing. After intense training in the performing arts, I went to beauty school waaaaaaaaay back in 1981 and I must tell u: I've only come across a handful of instructors, platform artists, & theatrical beauty specialists that exude the peaceful joy u exude! You should travel & teach workshops at beauty shows, salons etc.

If u ever do anything in the NorthEast, PLEASE send me a quick text!

    Blessings!

    Mz. B.

  • Thanks for making this video! Also, when you switched to your eye close ups, I thought you had a female model do that bit then I saw your headband in one of the close ups! I think you have beautiful eyes!

  • Love it! Thanks!

  • Wonderful! You are so wonderful to do all these videos for us EnKore- You're really great at teaching. I finally got my lashes on straight!

  • Awesome! Thanks!

  • Yup, take them off when you come home, I wouldn't sleep in them - just by peeling them off from one end. They come off super easily! Then, either with your fingers or a pair of tweezers, pick off the excess glue off the lash and place them carefully back on the tray they come on! Hope this helps :)

  • How long do they last?and how to you get them off if you want to?by the way this eye-liner is great?what brand is it?

  • They can last up to 4 or 5 times if you take care of them (by carefully picking off any access glue after use, and placing them back on the tray). I was a dancer my whole life, so have gone through hundreds of pairs of lashes! :)

  • Thanks, but do you put them on and when you get back home home you take them off or can you sleep with them? and how to you get them off? you peel them off or is there some product ?cause peeling them off seems a bit harsh for the eyelid....don't know anything about fake lashes but wanna try it...thanks anyway ang good luck with the dancing!!!I gave up dancing and it's the one thing I regret for my entire life :(

  • i like it

  • Hi Koren! I use strip lashes every day for a natural look, but because I am Asian they do not necessarily look "natural" on me because people tell me all the time I'm "Asian and no Asian has lashes that long and thick." I have tried individual clusters and do not like them. I used your techniques and they have helped, but I was just wondering, will these never look 100% natural on me? I feel annoyed when people ask me "Are your eyelashes fake?", I find these questions rude and annoying.

  • Ugh, I hate when people ask me if I have falsies! Especially when it's in front of everyone or they wait until I'm in front of all the guys, I swear they're trying to make me look bad/fake. I can't think of a good reply back to offend them back. I too find them rude and annoying, like if you really want to know, you can be discrete. I guess they're just envious they don't have the guts to wear them.

  • I will definitely use your techniques. I barely wear faux lashes and from your tutorial it looks easier. Thank You!!!

  • what glue do you use?

  • DUO Lash Surgical Adhesive

  • Hey Koren...LUV this tut. I don't wear a lot of makeup but I have very light brows & lashes. I'm 52 & always wanted to wear lashes. I wore them last night. Looked amazing. THANX! oxoxo's

  • Thank you SO MUCH!!! I typically use only the half lash bands for just my outer portion of the eye because I've never gotten the hang of using full bands. I will be trying this now!! Excellent tutorial!

  • thank you!!!!!!!!

  • Simply TERRIFIC! Thank you!

  • FINALLY someone that says to put on eyeliner before the lashes. I always tell people to do this on yahoo answers and i get thumbs down, ahaha. damn them D:

i love your videos btw ^___^

  • thats funny lol

  • lol, they just don't know any better. But I realized putting the liner first, curling my own lashes and putting mascara on and curling both the false ones and mine together really helps make them look more natural.

  • Yeah I do that too xD

  • haha xD

  • Thank u so much! I have never tried false lashes as I found the idea a little intimidating, but now I will give it a go thanks to your tutorial :) Problem is, which ones do I go for??? Hmm...

  • your amazing! such helpful hints

  • 1:07 lol "wiggle it...just a little bit"

  • I mean put the glue on the stem of the q-tip.

  • EnKore, you had better use a Q-tip and run your lash strip through the glue on the q-tip. It works better.

  • AWESOME tips! This will solve so many of my issues with false lashes! Thank you thank you

  • omg the putting the glue on the box is a great idea lol..wish I'd known that during halloween...I kept getting too much glue and though it dried clear it was still frustrating..now i Know for when I do my vday makeup! THANKS!!

  • Love it.. thank you! you are a GREAT TEACHER! :)

  • You are the sweetest! great tips and very professional! I LOVE you!

  • Thanks your awesome

  • OMG, this is great. I really put my lashes on for the first time right. Thank you so much. How cool

    Martha

  • This is so HELPFUL. thank you thank you =D is it necessary to curl your natural lashes before applying falsies, because i see some ppl do that on their videos?

  • its not necessary, but it helps to some specially if their real lashes doesnt have any curl.

  • HELP!! When I put on the false lashes, after a couple of hours of dancing, they start to peel off. Does anyone know if it's my glue, or is that natural?? I use a glue by Ardell and it looks a bit like tar...I appreciate any tips on keeping them on longer.

  • definitely the glue, thats why most favor Duo Surgical Adhesive. Sticks better than other commnercial lash glues.

  • Do you know which lashes are best? And where i can find them at? Also how much do you think they would cost me? Thanks for all the tips thier great love your videos!!!

  • you can get Ardell brand lashes from pharmacy chains and beuty supply stores, and theyre about $2-$4, you can also look online at stores like eeyelash dotcom

  • Thank you so much, I have been having such a hard time with faux lashes!

  • How long do you let the glue air out for??

  • not long at all - once your doing this procedure it actually goes pretty fast. So after sizing and preppring the lashes, the glue should be ready.

  • thanx enkore ur videos are very useful ..

  • Koren, I love you man!!! Seriously, I just jumped on the lash bandwagon. When I mean just I mean literally...today was my first attempt. Your tips and tricks are like pockets full of sunshine. Thanks for making it so much easier!

  • Your videos are outstanding - I'm doing bridal makeup in the spring/summer & your 2 videos on false lashes will help me immensely!

  • You're the best Koren! I always learn something new in your tutorials. Great vid!

  • OMC I LOVE YOU!

  • I just subscribed to your channel1hour ago and I've watched 3 tutorials. Let me tell you that in 20 minutes I've learned soooooo much! your tips and tricks are AMAZING! I'm so looking fwd to keep watching you! -Z

  • This is the first time I've seen a two-handed application of falsies and why not?!

It's so much easier that way!!

  • for beginners its good to start with 2 hands or aid of a tweezer, once you master its easy to do one hand. I do one hand in my eye-look videos.

  • Finally, I wanted this video the first time I ever watched your videos./any video Thank you, thank you. You are one of two people I subscribe to and I watch you for everything first.. Thank you for your passion for sharing:-)

  • i love how at the end you can see the difference in the techniques! the eye you taught is so much more open than the other way! thank you so much, this will definitely help me with my clients!

  • thnx! the only thing I need to learn now is how to apply fake lashes to a other person ;)

  • Thank you! Very informative video. :)

  • Wow I just tried it right now! it looks awesome :D thanx!

  • ive been wearing lashes for a WHILE - im amazed at what i just learned. thank you! <3 your new subby

  • Hi Enkore! Is it better to apply the faux lashes before doing your eyemakeup?

  • i prefer putting them on after you finish the eyemakeup so that it doesnt catch any fall offs from the eyeshadows.

  • Can you upload more of these?? You should definitely upload some more videos if you can because these are the kinds of videos that keep me sane during a 5 hour lecture in class.

  • haha omg, same! Except mine's during work. (:

  • I have tried over and over to apply lashes and they just end up in the trash because I get frustrated. I have poked myself in the eye and the ones I have managed to get on end up coming away from my lash in a few mins... I will definately try this.. THANX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow thanks a lot :)

  • Do you have any tips on how to take off false eyelashes (delicately so it can be re-used)? Many thanks, you're a star!

  • This by far is the BEST tutorial I've seen on how to apply falsies. Thank you luv!

  • Do we do our look first and then apply the lashes? or do we apply the lashes and then do the makeup look? (dumb question i know but i am a beginner at this!)

  • i usually do it after the eye look, so that it doesnt catch any fall-outs from the eyeshadows.

  • DITTO to nakedbodybutter's comment!!

    YAY EnKore Makeup!

  • This video and your first segment to strip eyelashes is SO helpful. And it's makes such a difference when you colour the band and line your eye first! Thank you for comparison and keep up the videos!

  • Your vids are always so helpful, and this one is just amazing, love tip of painting the lash band, fantastic and I am so going to try it.

By the way yesterday I depotted my UDPP in the lip gloss containers just as you showed us.

Works perfect! Though it takes a long time, so I think for the future I´ll switch to Too Faced Shadow Insurance.....

  • I totally agree about the black band, magazines nearly always say go for the clear band because its "more natural" In who's world?!! Great Video as always

  • Omg I was soooo scared to try fake lashes, and I have always chickened out! I didnt want them to look false and stupid, but nw I am soooooo going to try them! Thanks a bunch!

  • This is the best tutorial ever! I've struggled with lashes forever. Recently, I gave up. I'm now ready to give them another shot. Koren you rock!

  • great great video!! Thanks!

  • Wow!! Enkore you are the bomb *)

  • i have a rele short sighted eye so i can apply faux eyelashes really good to one eye and abysmally to the other!

  • you look funny with faux lashes..great tutorial thank you

  • Koren at it's best, thank you :)

  • This is a very good tutorial. Well done.

  • is the eyelash glue bad for eyes? or people who wear contacts?

  • Thank you!

    Great tutorial =)

  • So am I

  • good tips and tricks, why didn't i think of that?

  • You make it look so simple thanks Enkore. It gives me more detailed look at the step by step process. Now all I need to do is practice practice practice ^_^

  • are you supposed to put faux eyelashes on before or after your eye shadow and primers?

  • you can do it either way but I would recommend putting them on last, because then you don't get your shadows or whatever you used, all over the lashes. Hope this helped! :)

    *Rocksterize* tutorials

love love love the way u explain everything in detail! well done! ^.^ xx

  • to get lashes on as easily and as perfectly as you do take practice i'm guessing?

  • yes, practice and you'll get the hang of it.

  • You make this look so easy! Thank you for your videos!!

  • Yeah he made it look so ridiculously easy! No fair!

  • Hi! I thought that lashes were supposed to go in the "groove" where your natural lashes grow from.. are they supposed to go on the skin (which is where the eyeliner is).. maybe that's where I've been messing up.

  • Put them just above, as close as you can, on the skin above the top lashes. :)

    *Rocksterize* tutorials

  • OMG are u a life saver or wat...or mayb u r an angel..lov u soooooooooooo much koren u rock

You really take the time to teach the viewers something new and you do it with such a charming smile. I love your videos...May god continue to bless you and your talent. :)

  • you make it look to simple!

my eyelashes are so weird, especially my left one. when i apply the false lashes, i always have a hard time because my lashes get in the way...how can i prevent that?

  • I LOVE ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS!! AWESOME!

  • this video helped so much! i have been avoiding wearing fake lashes cuz it was so hard to put them on right, but this made it so much easier, THANK YOU!

  • Dang I should have watched this pair of tutorials this morning. Trying to put on falsies for the first time = not pretty. Next time it will be better! Thanks

  • I love your tutorials, thank you for making make-up easier for us to apply and have fun with.

  • Excellent tips!! Thank u so much for sharing your knowledge with us!!! ;D

  • thank q for the tip... it helps a lot!

  • What type of eyeliner are you using?

  • faux lashes should be applied on your natural lash, no?

I'm not sure where I heard this, but it makes sence.

  • no, above the natural lash line.

  • you're so talented! keep it up =)

  • Awesome two part video. I have a question though...how do you take them off? and is glue residue hard to get off the skin?

  • you simply peel the band off much like peeling stickers.

  • Thanks for the tutorial enkore. I have asian lashes meaning the straight ones. I curl them, apply mascara, then put the falsies on. But my own lashes start to lose its curl and it looks so horrible having falsies on and having your lashes stick straight out. Do have know anything that I can do to remedy that? thanks so much

  • use clear mascara first, then curl your lashes. The clear mascara will act like hair gel and will help hold the curl. It will help to use a warm curler too like I demostrated in my Curling Lashes video. Then Faux lash, black mascara to blend the real ones.

  • dont you spell it faulse not faux lashes

  • faux is French for false. And it's false not "faulse" if you want to get picky.

  • i have a question, are faux eyelashes reusable or is it meant to be used one time and throw it out?
