they do this not to keep their land and stuff.. neither for money.... they do this to keep their culture... i heard a majority of people in china have turned towards christianity!!! they fear that The Buddha will eventually fade away from people's heart.. a lot of people around the world are forgetting about their own tradition and culture.. and are turning towards western style of living... so they are only doing this to preserve their culture!! And that is a very good thing...
those monks arent fake ;) shi wan heng is one of the oldest monks still alive. he even survived the destruction of the shaolin monastery by mao ze dong. and those monks performing are his fellow disciples and masters

Monks= nothign but gymnastic+ cheapass magicians. In this generation, there are no monks. Wannabe monks maybe? Following the beliefs of the ones that pasted away a long time ago. Sure these guys can take good pain, do great stunts, but the worst part is that they use materials that are soft and ez to break matierials for ppl to overexaggerate their real power.
