I was there too and there were so many emotions everywhere. This song always brings tears to my eyes because of the way David sings it and the message of the song is amazing. I love love love love this. Hearing him live is like no other experience I've ever been a part of. I feel so blessed to have heard this.

Great performance. Sad it's his last with Idol, but now he can get on with his own life. By the way, I just saw on the Standup for Cancer site that David's Arch Angels raised over $38,000 to fight cancer. Thanks to Pecan Pie for spearheading the drive. She did a great job to help David support a great fight to wipe out cancer.

I was there, and I can't even describe how I was feeling. I knew he was really 'on' with this performance and I wanted to savor it, but at the same time I was too aware that it was the last Idol concert. So many of David's fans are feeling very mixed -- experiencing an ending and a beginning and not sure how to think.

But thank heaven one of my favorite people in the world -- and hands down my favorite singer -- will be able to rest and move on with a career that I suspect will be stellar.
